I’ve been going to DQ’s since I was a little kid. The buster bar is absolutely my favorite and I still love it. The food at the scalp ave location has been iffy and inconsistent. I recently ordered a chili cheese hotdog ($2.99) the chili and cheese was very tasty, but you could tell the hotdog had been sitting around for a while.

Service was great. However the ice cream cake we got to celebrate a birthday was disappointing. We chose the PB ice cream cake and it was all vanilla ice cream and a dusting of Reese cups on top.

Yesterday I waited to order for over 5 minutes then they got my order wrong. Today I waited again over 5 minutes just to order so I just left. I wouldn’t care nearly as much if I got at least a “he with you shortly” but I just waited with no idea if they knew I was there.

They have decent food in my experience. I only got a Blizzard on my last visit (which was delicious), but I have had their Flamethrower Burger with fries and it was good. The burger seemed fresh as did the fries. My only complaint was that it seemed very expensive for just a fast food meal.
