Stopped in on our way home and there was only drive through service with a sign on the door that said, “Lobby closed due to staffing”. We waited in a 4-car-long line that took a ridiculously long time (best guess was over half an hour) then we were asked three times if we had ordered. There were no apologies for the wait or the mistaken order questions, and when we finally did get our order, my husband’s blizzard had an extra dollop of ice cream on top as if they just tried to fill the cup after they mixed it. Don’t get ice cream in Garibaldi if you are in a hurry.

my girlfriend & i ordered a chili cheese hot dog & a 3pc tender meal. they only gave us our blizzard right away & we were waiting for at least 30 minutes until the staff noticed that we were waiting for our food. They didn’t start our food at all until someone asked if they started it.

If I could give it 0 stars I would….rude rude and rude. I called at 920 was told they close at 10. Showed at 938, wad then told they that the ice cream machine was broken but that didn’tmatter because the kitchen was closed anyways. I said I don’t want ice cream only a burger and I called before I came to see what time you close. Then he argued that I didn’t call the garibaldi location…even tho I called from the motel less than a block away. Then came out to my vehicle in the drive-thru to continue to argue with me that I did not call this location. Mind you, I believe the next closest location to garibaldi is in Astoria. People in line in Front of me said they had been sitting waiting 45 minutes. I’m pretty sure at this point they are going to spit in my food because the kid arguing with me out side is now standing by the drive-thru menu turning everyone away and its not 10 yet….the kid at the window was super sweet and you could tell he was having a rough day. He was so kind. I tipped the window kid just because you could tell he was doing the best he could. Only 2 people there to run the place? The owners should be ashamed. If the customer service is consistently this terrible and only 2 people there? Be a lot smarter to close until the staffing issues have been addressed. Very disappointing.

Went through drive thru with only two cars ahead of us and it took an hour to get our food, honestly should have just left but the longer I waited the more I thought “it must be any minute now”. There was also an employee that brought out two dogs from the back door and left one unattended in a kennel by his car for a long period of time. My main concern was the poor pup, but also, that cannot be sanitary to bring your dogs to work at a fast food place….yikes…I’d stay away from this DQ unfortunately.

Waited an hour just for two blizzards and a regular fry. Come to find out once we got it they had just put our blizzards in their chiller and completely forgot about us for that whole hour. Front staff was slow and had no urgency to complete these small orders. Kitchen staff was great pushing food out but, failed by their coworkers for letting it sit and get cold by the time they served it. I would’ve left and went to the creamery for actual ice cream but I had already paid.

Only 2 workers..i was in the drive thru for over 15 minutes..with only 1 car ahead of me..so I decided to go in after seeing a female worker get in her car and leave. Management should be ashamed of themselves for the situation they put the only 2 remaining workers in. Two underage boys doing their very best to run the entire show. I seen my food set under the warmer for at least 10 minutes..as customers continued to come in..several left after waiting and seeing the chaos inside..several drive thru people drove off after waiting for lengthy periods and nobody to take their order. The boys were doing their best to keep up and stay pleasant..No fault of their own..pure and simple terrible management setting them up for failure. My order was incorrect and cold, but couldn’t complain as I could see the situation. Management should be ashamed! And replaced without question!

The website says they close at 10. The open sign was on at 9:10 pm. No response at the drive through so we walked in. An employee came out a back door and said they were closed. Half a dozen customers in the building but Shawn said they closed early because they were short staffed. So we didn’t get to order anything. If this was a franchise I owned I would be firing the manager. Horrible lack of service and customer care.

This DQ has serious problems. Their hours change randomly, no business phone if you need to call. They are understaffed (2 people working the entire restaurant is unacceptable) they forget items in your order, sometimes you will only get hot food items and other times they are only serving grill items and if they decide to clean the kitchen or icecream machine early… forget about getting that. The icecream machine is always broken and it takes FOREVER to get your food! We sat outside waiting for our food one time almost 40 minutes… finally my sister went inside to say something and we come to find out they forgot about us!

This DQ WAS HORRIBLE TO US. We got off the train and raced over eagerly anticipating our dipped cones only to be told by an employee locking the door that they would not allow us in because they were too busy and were understaffed. They would not allow us to walk through the drive through line either. When we went to as a driver in line if we could jump on her order the employee from the door told us to get out of the line and off the speaker. Rude!

Just drove out to Garibaldi for lunch & blizzards. Ordered & waited in drive thru for ages just to get to the window for them to tell me they don’t take $50 bills. It wouldn’t have been so bad if it hadn’t had come from a terribly rude blonde haired gentleman with a huge hickey on his neck that kept wiping his nose with the side of his hand…. I’m not happy…. won’t be going there again.
