This location is fantastic – they are SO fast and efficient. We always have super complicated orders with special requests and they get it right every time. I’m always so surprised at how quick and efficient they are.

Edit:
There have been a few times now that I’ve come here since posting this review that I’ve had a bad experience, so I’m revising my review to 3 stars. The last time I went the worker was rude, I paid like 2 or 3 dollars to get extra mixins in my blizzard and then the entire bottom half of the blizzard was just plain vanilla ice cream (and there wasn’t much in the top half either). The picture is at a bad angle so it’s hard to tell, but this was a medium so the cup was deeper than it appears in this picture. It was genuinely half plain vanilla ice cream.

The employees were super friendly and all had a smile on their faces. I showed up late to meet family and grabbed a blizzard. I had a couple minutes wait time for my order and was able to join them. The seating inside is smaller and limited. I think I recall seeing some outside seating but it was cold when I visited.

Prices have definitely gone up. $6.29 for a small blizzard is expensive!! They did have a 10% military discount.

I come to the Queen Creek Location several times a month to get a chocolate dipped cone. I order it in the drive thru. The ice cream is never the same size. It costs the same though. Tonight I asked the person working the window if they were trained on how to make the dipped cones. She said when you start working they show us how to make them. I should her my cone and asked her if this is how they showed you to make them. She said she didn’t know and walked away from the window. It has actually become a game with my family. We guess the size of the cane. I have attached a photo of my cone from tonight. You can clearly see its not right. Just thought you might want to know.

Drive thru was dangerous….curb check city. Had to 3 point and take my time navigating. But service was good.

We have been going to this Dairy Queen for years. I don’t know what is going on here now because the quality has gone down terribly. The blizzards are soupy and they never have enough of the product in it and it tastes terrible. My husband went tonight and he got a cookie dough blizzard, it was nothing but chocolate to the point he couldn’t eat it. I got a Choco strawberry and you can’t taste anything, but the vanilla ice cream plus the chocolate chips… barely. I get the chocolate chip cones sometimes and they aren’t giving you the size you order which they cost different prices. We will not be back to this one location which is close to us. We will drive a lot further so we can get better quality.

Is Dairy Queen’s policy when you order a blizzard they are suppose to turn it upside down? If they don’t then you get a free one? Everyone knows this is their policy since the beginning of time. Well tonight, the owner, rather than choosing to show his employees great customer service, decided to get in an argument with me about it. He said his employees always do it unless we request lids. We didn’t request lids but ok. Then When we said we know they didn’t because they handed us our order in a bag. He then proceeded to say I’m sure they did it and then gave you your order. What?! You are seriously calling us a liar over a $6 blizzard? Then if that wasn’t enough, my wife ordered a banana split with nuts and they just placed whole peanuts on the ice cream. They don’t grind the peanuts? I have never seen such laziness in my life.

Service was amazing and my blizzard came out perfect just how I like it. I was having a bad day so I’m very grateful for how good the service was. I never caught her name but the young lady with purple n her hair was very sweet. Service in general was great but that girl definitely helped my day:) she even aksed how I was!!! I don’t get often. Anyways thanks DQ for a wonderful experience:)

My wife last Tuesday had ordered an ice cream birthday cake for our son’s birthday on Sunday. When we went in Friday night to pick up the cake there was no information given to anyone that just was needed to be done. This tells me that there’s a serious lack of communication and continuity among the staff. But, they are in high school. All the kids in this place are in high school so I don’t expect too much. After all when I was in high school, nobody expected too much for me because oh wait, I was a teenager and my main purpose in life was school skateboarding and chasing girls. When I showed up on Sunday they had the cake already and they apologized and were polite. Nothing was lost. I was simply inconvenienced a little. Is this place a good place for ice cream? Yeah it really is because there’s Cold Stone creamery and from what I understand the management treats their people like garbage. Any ice cream is really overpriced. Yes, it’s not soft. Serve and a make it right in front of you with a whole bunch of fixings. But you know what ice cream shouldn’t feel like it’s 40 lb in your stomach. You can get a nice light cone here and be on your way without it being a huge operation. Well I can continue to visit. Well sure I will. Because it’s a dairy Queen, it’s not like you’re going to Morton’s and spending $400 on a meal.

I have traveled throughout the US and always visit DQ’s in the cities. Your DQ is by far the absolute best!!! Zoe makes the best blizzards I have ever eaten! She is very sweet and is eager to please the customers. She is a stellar employee and you are fortunate to have her on your team. I have had blizzards with almost no candy and not blended but never with Zoe!
