Food was absolutely excellent. The small nature of this restaurant gives a very cozy and infantent feeling and is a nice change of pace from a normal restaurant. The service was amazing and I always felt taken care of. I would very much recommend the ravioli as it changes daily and is always a hit.

Had a lovely dinner at Amelia’s Trattoria in Cambridge, MA. Food and service were definitely A+. The atmosphere was nice (We were dining outside), but bc it was right on the street it could a bit noisy at times due to traffic. However, the food was delicious. I had the ravioli of the day which actually came with not only a flavorful sauce, but small bites of grilled chicken as well. My husband and cousin each enjoyed their meals too (chicken parmesan and pasta bolognese). I also had a super yummy arugula salad with pears and goat cheese. Service was also on point with knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff. I would highly recommend a visit to Amelia’s Trattoria.

Fantastic food! We got the octopus and eggplant appetizers. Eggplant was incredible! Then, the beat salad (pictured). Everything was flavorful and delicious. Would return

We went to Amelia’s Trattoria last night, and the food was delicious!
We started with the octopus, and I had the vongole linguine, and my partner got the special (lobster ravioli).
The dishes were well prepared, and they were generous portions!
I will come back in the future!

Came for a glass of wine and some appetizers after work one Friday. The calamari was okay – a lot of peppers included in the mix if you like that with a decent dipping sauce. The truffle fries were skinny shoestrings. In our opinion, there was too much of the truffle Parmesan, kind of overpowering the fries themselves. Did not any of the main courses, but would come back to give them a go. It was lovely to sit outside with the heaters and the service was great.

Casual neighborhood Italian kitchen that serves good pasta.

My friend and I walked in here on a busy Friday night. We got the last available table near the entrance, and our table was barely four inches apart from the others. We had to move around every time servers tried to pass through that gap, and as a result, we had an extremely difficult time focusing on our meal. Nevertheless, our server did her best not to disturb us and she was very accommodating throughout the evening.

For the appetizers, we had the arancini and the caponatina. Topped with fresh parmesan and basil, caponatina on a toasted bread was a delightful start to the meal. Arancini was good, but the crust was too thick and heavy to be a good appetizer.

From the entrées, our favorite was the bolognese. Each bite of the braised short ribs combined with the classic shaved grana padano and fresh basil toppings exploded with flavor. On the other hand, spaghetti alla vongole was underwhelming. The thick noodles failed to soak up the sauce and resulted in an unappealing mass. Zappa di pesce was essentially Frutti di mare without the pasta noodles, and it was just okay for the price.

Overall, a good spot in a quiet neighborhood to enjoy Italian food in a homey atmosphere. Would probably come back for their bolognese if I don’t want the hassle of traveling all the way to the North End.

We went to Trattoria Amelia last night and were lucky to get a table. We chose a nice Montepulciano to start and has some mussels too. We took our time and were not rushed. My husband had the special ravioli with ricotta, mushrooms, spinach. They were delicious. I had a Mediterranean salad with extra anchovies. Lots of great flavors. We also shared a tiramisu and enjoyed that!! Can’t wait to go back.

Food was AMAZING! Not only that – the owners of the restaurants are beyond kind and generous. Staff were so attentive and the environment was beautiful. I am from TX and this is my first time ever in MA and I couldn’t have gone to a better restaurant for my first night in town. If you’re looking for beautiful and tasty Italian food, they have an amazing chicken Parmesan, delicious appetizers, and a perfect ambiance. 10/10 recommend – swing by for dinner with friends, date night, or even just some cocktails! Love this spot and if I’m ever back in Cambridge, I will absolutely be back!

My third visit to Amelia’s Traattoria. As before, a wonderful meal and wonderful experience. The restaurant was very lively and packed. Our server was great! The mussels were delicious. I enjoyed the daily special raviolis with ricotta, mushroom and spinach, paired with jumbo shrimp. Delicious! The Mediterranean salad was fantastic. We finished with the Tiramisu. Yum. And the Montepulciano by the glass was excellent. Already looking forward to next visit!

Similar to other review, they are very understaff. No time to attend to any customers in details. And very noisy in the evening I went to, note that it was almost full house but still the atmosphere wasn’t that good.

That said, food was ok, not great but not bad as well. Octopus was tender and well seasoned. But pasta was a bit blend and I expected a lot more at the Italian restaurant.
