Experience has been great every visit! I recently went in the evening and there were over 13 vehicles in front of me in the drive through. I was amazed at how friendly the employees were despite how busy they were! My dog learned they give free pup cups (which she absolutely loved!). Chicken strips are the best I have ever eaten. This Dairy Queen is definitely on my “favorite” list!

Only giving 2 stars instead if 1 because the burger wasn’t bad and they didn’t screw up my order. I waited in the drive thru for well over 20 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me. Somehow when I got to the window, my food still hadn’t been made. No special instructions, just 1 burger and fries. No apology for the wait or anything, and the girl wasn’t even very nice. Whatever, I’m hungry and now almost late for work so I scarf down the burger. Get to the fries and they taste like FISH. Like the fry oil hadn’t been changed in a long time. Disgusting. The toppings on my burger were all over the place, and it was a little difficult to eat. Bacon tasted like it had been deep fried, like the disintegrating kind of crispy. Otherwise the burger tasted fine. I really hope this was just a one time occurrence. Bad first impression…

The food here is usually good but be prepared to wait an incredibly long time for even the simplest of orders. It does not seem to matter if the location is crowded or not, sometimes service is just impressively slow. Though not always slow service, I always brace for it if I decide to stop by so as to not be frustrated waiting 10 minutes for a cup of vanilla ice cream.

This is literally the worst fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. Lived at SML from 1992-2016. I would periodically give them a chance 3 or 4 times a year. They were always painfully slow. The staff doesn’t care one bit and are often rude. Orders are rarely correct. They’re normally out of stock on items. The place just looks (and is) dirty. They don’t use tray liners when you eat-in. Sometimes they put your orders in plastic Kroger bags. The last straw for me was the second to last time I came in and got Sprite with my meal, and there were many visible little black chunks in my drink. They said the machine probably wasn’t clean and got me a Sprite from the back. I went back one week later, same black chunks in a clear drink. Sickening, and once again, shows they don’t care at all. Sadly, one of the best things about moving away from the lake was never having to deal with these people again.

I’ve ordered dairy Queen’s ice cream cakes for my husband’s birthday through the years they always did a great job on the design on the cakes but this last time when I got a birthday cake it looked like a kindergartener did the decoration on it. I don’t have a picture wish I took one.

We went through the drive thru and ordered 2 medium carmel apple pie blizzards. My husband and I then pulled into a parking spot to eat our ice cream. The top third of our blizzards were great. A decent amout of toppings and blended well, after the top third though there was nothing but soft serve. No topping at all below the top third! I was to disappointed to even go back and complain. It took the poor girl working the drive thru at least 3 minutes to give us $11 in change. My husband thought he was going to have to knock on the window or blow the horn to remind them. Just a bad experience, we won’t be going back there.

Went through the drive through and waited for 30 minutes. Now I know you may think wow how busy but there were only 6 cars in front of me. When placing our order we ordered a chili cheese dog add ketchup and relish. When they asked will that be all I said as long as you got that I wanted ketchup and relish on the chili cheese dog then that’s it. Well needless to say when my wife opened her box with the hot dog they still didn’t add ketchup and relish. If we hadn’t waited for 30 minutes in the drive through I would not be writing a review but this was a terrible vist.
