August 21, 2021 – It’s a hot summer day, you need something cold & Sweet . . . try DQ’s tasty DAIRY TREATS!
( FDA requires at least 10% buttermilk fat, to call it ICE CREAM)
Oh well, it looks like ice cream! I go for the chocolate raspberry w/chocolate chunks Blizzard! Yum!
I hear many DQ’s offer burgers, fries, hot dogs, and other lunch items. . . Usually people walk away with milkshakes, dipped cones, banana splits, and other “DAIRY TREATS”! I like them all !
Topsham’s DQ is a small place on Main Street. Not sure how long it’s been around, but there’s a sign on the wall that reads, “ LBJ stopped in 1966”! The service is good, and the price reasonable. I rate this a solid 4.5, wish it stayed open more months in the year. I guess “demand” declines in the colder months. The owners nail up boards over the windows as fall & winter approach.

2nd time in the last week that they closed before the posted closing time. I arrived at 8:15 pm. on the hottest day of Summer so far. It was still 89 degree out not account ing for humidity. The post time is 9pm. I wasn’t the only one to pull in only to find it closed.

Staff was so kind and friendly! Loved the lady who took my order and made my blizzard. It’s a small little shop but a great vibe. She added extra dry gram crackers to my new York style cheesecake blizzard and it added texture that I loved just like she said it would.

The staff here are super friendly, and we love the atmosphere, but we consistently get blizzards that have somehow been weirdly over blended until it’s just milky ice cream with macerated cookie dough/Oreo/whatever. Super disappointing, especially for the kids.

My blizzard was blended into a milkshake. It should have had vanilla ice cream with chocolate and pecan chunks but it was blended into non vanilla and had no chunks. I tossed it into the trash after trying to talk to the clerk about it. I really don’t need to buy a new employees mistake.

It is awesome. The workers are nice and the icecream is so good. I had a Cotton Candy Blizzard and they didn’t have the candy rocks that go in it so they put extra flavoring in it to make up for it and rainbow sprinkles I was happy that I could still have it and it tasted just as good.

Awesome start to the season. I got myself a blizzard of the Hawaiian style and my son got a Banana split and it was all delicious. Sometimes the ice cream can melt insanely quick, but overall a great place to start or continue some memories.

Ice cream is always tasty. Definitely tastes different then real ice cream. Their consistency is well, inconsistent. I got a large blizzard that was over filled. Well worth the price. But the next time I got a medium in a large cup
