Went for Easter lunch with family. The atmosphere is beautiful, it felt like we were eating in someone’s home! Service was fantastic! She could describe each of the dishes we asked about. We started with the grilled Octopus. It came out quickly and was fantastic!! It had obviously been marinated before being grilled and was very tender. I had the dry-aged pork chop (it was a special) with a wonderful sauce, truffle mashed potatoes, and vegetables. It was cooked perfectly and was really tasty! I ate the whole thing and wanted to gnaw on the bone like a dog, but I restrained myself! My wife had the pasta de mare special. It was linguine with a light sauce with mussels, classic, and other seafood and was so good. I would definitely go back!

I enjoyed this restaurant and would go back for the tiramisu alone. However I do think the vegetables, mash potatoes and the chicken schnitzel were lacking quite a lot. The steak was decent and we all agreed that the best entree was the Linguine alla Pescatore. Appetizers were impressive. The ambience was enjoyable as well.

Phenomenal new restaurant! The food, the atmosphere, and the service are all beyond outstanding! The bread was very flavorful without even dipping it, the calamari had the best breading I’ve had in the US, and my seafood linguine was sooo good. My wife loved her lamb, no one in the area except the other Daily News can make lamb as good as they do here. Tom, our waiter was amazing and took great care of us. Finally, my cheesecake was delicious! I can’t say enough good things about Daily News Restaurant!! You will not be disappointed eating here!!

Wonderful dinner! Amazing flavor and terrific service. This menu and environment is a whole new experience for Daily News and is very different from their other location. This is absolutely the best restaurant in Largo and rivals any top rated restaurant in all of Pinellas County.

If you’re looking for a new date night restaurant, look no further. Elegantly appointed dining rooms, professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff created the perfect atmosphere. The food was outrageously delicious, which really is the most important part. Our server, Alen, was courteous and helpful. Definitely try the octopus, it’s perfectly brined with just the right amount of char. We also had the lamb chops and ribeye, both were incredible and the bleu cheese truffle butter was a divine touch. As we finished off our meals with the best desserts we’ve had in some time, we were already checking our schedules for when we could come back.

Absolutely loved our first visit to the Daily News Restaurant. Tom kept us entertained, answered all our questions, & was a pleasure to have him serve us. All the staff was super friendly, chief made our meal amazing & the desserts, yes we did try them all, most was to die for! We “WILL” be coming back. If your looking for something new & different “this is” a must try! Thanks Tom for making our first time dining here a absolute pleasure!
