My girlfriend and I went for the the first time on 2/23 as a spontaneous breakfast date, risking being there for hours as it was a Sunday morning, but that was not the case we waited MAYBE 5 minutes before we were brought to our table, and the very cheerful waitress came over and took or drink order then promptly our breakfast order. Again expecting a longer wait due to it being absolutely packed and again Sunday breakfast time, once again I was wrong our food was made super fast and absolutely delicious our waitress kept our coffees full and a huge smile on her face the entire time! A+++++ experience and will DEFINITELY be back in the near future !

The pesto melt breakfast sandwich was amazing! The perfect amount of pesto with spinach and bacon. With a name like The Daily Grind, I was expecting a diverse coffee selection. Alas, they had regular black coffee only. Which, I may add, was delicious.

Amazing service, by friendly and quick staff. Perfect sized portions, where I’m always satisfied but never too much, and the food is top notch breakfast food.

A really nice place with great vibes, good food and great service

Stick the basics and you’ll be happy. Eggs, Home Fries, Sausage. Things of that nature. Anything beyond that seems be outside of their realm to make amazing. For a place called “The Daily Grind” I would of thought they would in fact grind their coffee fresh. (Did not seem to be the case) However the coffee tasted ok and the staff was very pleasant. Inside decor could use some love.

MONTE CRISCO w/ EGG & SAUSGE: Filling but lacked any true flavor (until I dosed it in maple syrup).

HOME FRIES: Very crispy and cooked well. Though needed salt to truly bring out any flavor. Was disappointed however in the small amount given

WAFFLES: Noticed they were nothing more than frozen waffels then reheated. Coated with an almost sickening level of sugar to make them more dessert like than true breakfast champion.

This is our favorite breakfast spot (local to home) been enjoying since before they moved locations. I enjoy thier new building they did a great job! I really dont have any complaints. My go to is the brown sugar French toast. Every single time I feel my coffee is way overfilled and hard to put anything in it. This has happened every time iv gone in. Last weekend when I went for our most recent visit, I was a bit disappointed in the service. Our waitress didnt see how we were doing til the end of our meal. That also includes offering a refill of my coffee after I finished my meal, I found this shocking to me.

I was truly impressed! I went in with no expectations, but I left with a to-go order that completely blew me away. I ordered the brown sugar French toast with homemade hash, and it was fantastic. I almost want to say the hash had a hint of garlic flavor, or maybe it was onion powder, but either way, it was delicious. The texture was perfect—not greasy at all. The French toast was also cooked perfectly. I’m quite picky when it comes to breakfast, so this meal was definitely a hit. I will certainly be going back in the future!

However, there is one drawback to mention regarding the quantity of the dishes. The serving sizes weren’t very large, so you might need to order extra of some items. For example, I received only a small amount of hash, and I would have enjoyed more. All in all, considering the taste, texture, and quality of the food, I would rate it a solid 4 stars.

Nice place to eat, especially breakfast. High quality food – homemade corned beef hash that’s the best around.

Good service, too!

We have lived in this area for a few years now and I don’t know how this place escaped our attention. now that we found it, it is truly a gem. The food was very good and plentiful, and the staff was nothing short of exceptional. I don’t know how we didn’t know of this place before but now we have a regular place to go to.

this place has it all! it is better than any other dinner I ever had as I grew up in the factory city’s of CT which had an abundance of eateries. the home fried have a smooth creamier texture and are very balanced in there seasoning. eggs are always cooked on point and the French toast and pancakes are always served with real Local Maple syrup! For lunch they also have a good selection of fresh pressed beef patties and a modest selection of fresh fried fish. Haddock, shrimp, scallops and sometimes clam strips.

Then for desert ice cream to boot, including soft serve in the summer months with there flagship product being a Maple Creamy!
