Drove 30mins to check this place out for the first time and wow was I impressed. I love BBQ and this hit the spot. I had the tri-tip sandwich, which was really tender and juicy. I loved the way it tasted without BBQ sauce but it was also really good with BBQ sauce. It’s served on a buttered garlic bread which was bomb. Also had the taco trio which once again hit the spot. The pulled pork taco was sooooo juicy and tasty. They were out of beef ribs so instead I had chicken and must say it was awesome!!! Oh and the service we received was by far one if the best customer service I’ve ever received. We were greeted as we walked in, checked on while we ate and also checked on after our meal. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

The 10oz cheese burger was bacon infused, big and juicy. Bun was great. One of the best burgers in Bakersfield. They give you a bucket of fries and a choice of one side. I got the fried jalapeno rings that were delicious! It came with a jalapeno ranch that was out of this world. The whole combo was$8.95 an incredible deal. I sampled the brisket and tri tip and that was good also. It is definitely a real good place to visit and very reasonable. I will be a return customer.

Delicious food all around. We were traveling on an RV trip and wanted lunch. Based on the reviews we went 11 miles out of our way to go to Dad’s.

Second time going. Didn’t like the potato salad. Tasted more like a olive salad with no salt. My daughter got their bacon macaroni burger and it had to much salt. She had to get some BBQ sauce so she could be able to finish it. Their fries are good tho

2 years i gave this place a 5 star and it was just amazing the brisket had a really nice bark to it and the meat would mush in your fingers of how tender it was. Now its dry and fast cooked the owner sold this place to people who have zero idea about the BBQ business sorry guys but ill never stop here again and i have to take the other 4 stars back. Maybe in a couple yrs if its still open ill stop and check why maybe these people re-sell it !

This place was awesome we drove all the war from Bakersfield just to eat here and were not disappointed! The service was so friendly and the atmosphere so nice and the food was amazing so worth the drive! We will definitely come back! Also you could tell the owners are Christians because they were playing Christian music and had blessings adorning the walls which was pleasantly surprising and made me happy!!
