We could not have been more pleased with our choice. This is a hidden gem in Hopkinsville. Looking for a good place to eat???? Look no more. Da Vinci Little Italian is the spot!! The service was great and the food was delicious. We would have gotten dessert but the main course was so filling!!!! Thanks again.

For a Saturday Night at 5pm, we got a table immediately. We were seated and greeted by our waitress, Ashley. She was the only waitress on the floor with the assistance of a member of the kitchen staff.
Ashley explained the menu (food & wine), shared specials, and gave each of the tables their own special attention. The table top of 20 across from us never went with an empty beverage and neither did we.
The food was absolutely fantastic! It is made to order, so dont expect your food to be out in 5 min. And its 100% worth the wait!
Bread & oil and the muscles as an appetizer. My son had the beef ravioli, I had the chicken parmesean, and my S.O had Chicken Cort-something.
Perfect atmosphere. Perfect service. Perfect meal!

First let me say, the people that left the bad reviews don’t know what real Italian food taste like. I drive over an hour to get to enjoy this authentic food. They need to go back to the Food Chain because they are stupid. Now to my review. This Food is Amazing. The chef which I don’t know blows the socks off of everyone around. I recommend the Cheese Ravioli, it is next level and the bread and oil I could drink that stuff. I could eat the bread and oil only.

It’s a small place and the chef cooks every meal so it takes time but worth every minute. So be prepared to wait perfection takes time. This is not your frozen crap from Olive Garden or wherever I’m talking homemade oil, homemade ravioli, bread, and this guy knows how to do it.

BEST ITALIAN FOOD ON THIS SIDE OF THE STATE.

Traveled from Clarksville to see what this little spot was all about and I’m so impressed! It was delicious, we had 3 baskets of bread with a side of oil. (took some of this home, too!). I had many plates of eggplant parm, and this was the best one by FAR! Staff was kind, responsive, and had the best sense of humor! Will definitely be coming back.

Homemade Authentic Italian Food! One of the best waitress whom recommended the wine to the fresh specials. My husband swears the best steak he has had in a long time. I chose the shrimp with dried tomatoes in a light sauce with plenty of homemade bread. We finished with homemade cannoli and fresh coffee. To some of the comments on wait, time flew by for us. It’s not a chain, but truly a place to enjoy with the owners love to share his wonderful food in our community. Please see the photo.

Our wine came with a pink ribbon with words of support for breast cancer, it was very special for me, I appreciated the added touch and support of a cause close to my heart

Service was great but the food was fabulous. Had the cheese ravioli and it was fabulous. The sauce was wonderful. Large servings.
My favorite Italian restaurant.

Every dish we had was spectacular. You could tell everything was made from scratch and seasoned to perfection. Hands-down the best Italian food around! (Also, the service was excellent)

The food was literally terrible. I am not a picky person but the dinner was anything but acceptable, especially for the steep prices:
Bread bowl with olive oil – burnt and only inside pieces dry
Parmesan chicken – too thick, soggy, yet dry fake cheese crust. Ordered extra cheese for which they charged $6 and it wasn’t even real cheese.
Spaghetti – acceptable, but definitely not homemade
Portabella ravioli – too salty
We will never come back!

If I was just driving by I wouldn’t have stopped. I heard the guy in the back speaking with an Italian accent, come to find out he’s the owner. I immediately got excited and for good reason, the food was amazing, I had chicken parm and the homemade bread with homemade garlic oil to dip was on point! Perfect little spot basically in a neighborhood and let’s not forget Ashley C, her service is the example everyone should follow.

I give this place a 10 out of 5! Seriously though. Eating at Da Vinci was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in my life! I only thought I knew what real Italian food was. I like Olive Garden, but this place makes Olive Garden look like the McDonald’s of Italian Food. Yes. It’s that good. Bring cash or your check book. In true Old World style, they don’t take credit cards. My husband lived in Italy for about a year while he was in the Navy. He said the food was just as tasty as he remembers. That is no surprise considering that the chef/owner is half Italian…. and you hear it when he speaks. He migrated to the US from Italy. His mother was Italian, and I think the hostess said his father was from Czechoslovakia.

We arrived before they opened for dinner and waited, so were first in. It’s a good thing we were. By the time we got our appetizers, the restaurant was beginning to fill up and when we left, they had a waiting list. The dining room is not set up to allow a lot of people, so it wasn’t loud. We didn’t have one waitress. All of the staff checked on and served all of the tables. They were all very pleasant and seemed happy to be there.

They do take reservations, so I’d suggest making reservations if you don’t plan to be there between 4:30 and 5 to get a table.

Most of the entrees range between. $12 and $20 with some like veal and steak being higher priced. I’ve included pictures of what we ate. The pictures loaded backwards.

Definitely go to Da Vinci. Date night anyone?
