On a lazy weekend afternoon, Loreto popped up as a recommendation on my feed and the beautifully decorated picture of the Branzino caught my eye. Dinner plan got hitched and I was excited to try this modern Mexican Latin fusion restaurant.

Ambience feels like a craftsman house converted into a restaurant – it’s nicely done but found it a bit too dark to my liking. Menu is not very extensive – We were there by 7 pm and they were already sold out of Fillet Mignon which was disappointing !

Drinks menu was well laid out. Mezcal based cocktail hit the spot !

I let the server pick top 5 recommendations for us. She got us the empanadas (Good), Cripsy Tuna (good) , Ceviche (Not bad), Soft Shell Crab (V Good !) and Branzino as the main entree (the highlight).

They charged 3% credit card fee (that’s so lame !)

Overall a good dining experience for a date night but I am on the fence if I will be back again !

All the food was outstanding. The raw fish and seafood was unbelievably fresh and aptly paired with elevated fresh flavors. The tostadas reminded me of Contramar in Cdmx, but even better (dare i say).

The atmosphere is beautiful, has a massive garden space, scattered lighting, copious succulents. It feels like an escape right in LA. The service is warm, personable, efficient.

Definitely worth the trip and such a great find.

We had a romantic dinner at Loreto, and it was perfect for date night. The atmosphere is beautiful, both the indoor and outdoor spaces have warm, dim lighting and a really nice vibe. Our waiter was attentive, he took the time to explain each dish and offer recommendations. We enjoyed everything we ordered, my favorite was the ceviche and the cocktails were delicious. Valet Parking available.

This place has just about everything going for it. It’s super cool looking and charming. Service is excellent, and pacing was impressive. And the food… so good! Creative, beautiful and delicious!

Great wine list, drinks are creative but could be more spirit-forward.

The one negative is the parking. Limited and difficult street parking in a mostly residential neighborhood, it’s still better than paying $15 for valet (ridiculous).

But, it’s a great dine!

This place is amazing, each plate we got was well prepared and surprising (except the Esquites, I would like the corn to be white, have some espazote). Drinks were on another level and the staff friendliness too. We are definitely coming back.

So was wanting Mexican food and we wanted some ceviche we looked this up and found this place randomly and it did not disappoint. Only thing was wanted to see it outside because the back area outside looked beautiful, but they had a massive party so could not do it butBronzino did not disappoint so we did not disappoint. Drinks did not disappoint and the service did not either will come again don’t know when because I love to try new places, but this will be on the top of my list to visit again.

This restaurant is somewhere between a 4 and 5 star. I ordered 4 dishes – octopus dish was way too salty, tuna on crispy rice was good but the tuna’s texture was a bit strange (it seemed to be cooked rather than raw), bang bang shrimp taco (highlight of the meal), and yellowtail sashimi (pretty solid). All the dishes had strong hints of citrus and vinegar. I also got a tiki drink that’s pretty good. Overall, solid bites but nothing exceptional although the restaurant has a cool ambiance.

Really great vibe and atmosphere, but if I’m gonna pay $20 for 2 small street tacos, they’d better be godlike. These were good, th shrimp was perfectly cooked, but none of the flavors blew me away. I also had their tuna appetizer which had a salsa that in my opinion just didn’t vibe, it had a deep rich almost irony flavor while the rest was lighter and somewhat citrusy. The place is gorgeous and the bartender was super nice, so I’d come back here for drinks but only order the good again in a pinch.

and juice are really good! We ordered second round.
But the corn x crab dish is little bit too simple ( I forgot this dish’s name)

Ridiculous. We are still waiting over an hour and half for our appetizer dish to come out. We even just ate the dessert first. Then the worker said there’s a hard out soon so that we need to to go it. Horrible horrible.
