I go to Park Slope often as my favorite pizzeria and Italian restaurant are there, but I’ve never been to Da Nonna Rosa. I’ve ordered pizza about 5 times now in the past year and a half and it deserves a good review.
The pizza has never let me down. It’s a nice thin, tender crust. I usually like crispy but this works; maybe because of the delivery time it loses the crisp not sure. The sauce is tangy and very flavorful. You don’t feel bad after eating a few slices lol. They are light and delicious. The prices are also reasonable.

This is the perfect go-to for anyone that appreciates great italian food, a nice atmosphere, and wonderful customer service. Our server Mickey was great as well. Totally didn’t expect it, but she brought a birthday dessert for me which made it extra special. Definitely would recommend. A++

This is a true neighborhood landmark – heart and soul of what makes the Slope great. The food is fantastic – the chicken parm the meatballs the Cesar salad baked clams all are fantastic. The pizza goes without saying is so good. What makes it even better is it’s family friendly. Booths and tables in the back and upstairs is a really nice bar and room.
I rely on Da Nonna when I need a for sure great meal.

Regular pie is reliably excellent which is why I’m a regular patron. Unfortunately, today I ordered a buffalo chicken roll and it was truly pathetic. For $15 I got maybe 4-5 tiny, smaller than bite size pieces of chicken in the half that I ate (I threw the other half away) and the rest was just stuffed with breading that had been coated in buffalo sauce. After a bite or two I confirmed this suspicion by pulling everything out of the dough with a fork and sending out a search party for the few actual pieces of chicken scraps that managed to make it. Pictured is the final result, all breading.

We had an amazing wedding reception experience with Anthony and the team at Da Nonna Rosa. From the very beginnings of communication, it was evident that Da Nonna was so excited to have us and ready to accommodate differing requests. Our reception was about 65 people, including a couple of young children. The space was absolutely perfect for this size. Da Nonna also accommodated a live band for us! There was plenty of room for dancing and everything was so well-maintained. The food was amazing and we were able to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. From every little detail (like playing our own Spotify playlist, to bringing our own decorations in) to the larger picture (like the cozy, classic Brooklyn vibe we were going for), Anthony attentively and with a lot of heart helped us plan the best party of our lives. We also got to take home two weeks worth of delicious leftovers. Thank you so much again, we will remember this night forever.

Do not go there for pizza. Grandma style was underdone, very floppy, and greasy the last two times. The picture was pizza few minutes after it came out.

We did pizza for our wedding reception and the food/experience was incredible from top to bottom! We met Anthony for a tasting a couple months beforehand during off hours and the vibes from him and the whole team were immaculate. He was also extremely thorough in his communication with our order/delivery, which was much appreciated. We ended up last minute ordering extra for an impromptu round two. Amazing gluten free and veggie/vegan options too. Highly recommend this business.

Booked a catering order with Anthony and he made the process very smooth, and easy! Food was delicious, warm, and on time and quantity was exactly perfect for the crowd. Quantity, portions, bread, sauce everything worked out perfectly. Highly recommend for any corporate, birthday, or celebration needs!

A casual, relaxing environment. The storefront is a pick-up/pizza by the slice setting, with a small bar, and there was restaurant dining in the back. The menu was huge and everything was super tasty. We started with the Nonna’s Special salad and the house bread, which was great. For our entrees we ordered the vodka pasta and baked ziti with Italian sausage. The portions were large to the point of leftovers and the food came out hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

This was some place that I am 95% a pizza lover. They make the best brick oven pizzas. Sometimes my parents make pizza for dinner and just use an oven to bake it with.
