Just happened upon this place while in Towson! Food is amazing and the service was excellent. Not sure what this place is like when all the college kids get back to school, but today it was quick service. I CANNOT express how much we enjoyed the food. We got the pretzel bites that were cooked to perfection! I got a burger that was so good with tots that were so crispy and delicious! My husband had the Fat Irish man (I think that’s what it was called) and he said it was excellent!! Will definitely go here again and would recommend it to anyone!

I want to thank the staff and owner for providing the Upward Bound Catonsville CCBC scholars with an awesome selection of food and nonalcoholic drinks. The atmosphere was outstanding. Food is scrumptious. Service fantastic. We had a pre-selection of foods for our students to select. They even provided us with a personalized menu. Nice touch!

4 for Sunday Brunch. We sat in the bar and had terrific service by the bartender, Mike. 2 of us got the Kitchen Sink Bloody Mary, yummy! Friend got bottomless Mimosas. We all loved our breakfast! I actually went and thanked the kitchen staff❣️ Street parking is free on Sundays!! We will go back with our regular outing crew of 8!!

Haven’t been to CVP for years. It’s been an institution for underage drinking and college kids in Towson for as long as I can remember. So it was interesting to come back in my middle years to see what’s keeping the place going. We ventured upstairs and had a seat at the outside bar. The place is extremely spacious, though it wasn’t that crowded for a weekend. We had drinks and nachos, and both were very good. The onion soup on the other hand was extremely salty, so I would pass on that next time. The bartender was friendly, conversational, and checked on our table often. With the ever-increasing competition in Towson as it grows and grows into a small metropolitan area, CVP should remain on the radar as a solid choice in one’s dining options.

I come here for lunch. They have a nice happy hour. The bartender is always nice and greets me as soon as i walk through the door. The food i get is good. I usually have flavored chicken bites and the rail drink special. My experience compared to others that frequent is the only thing that stops me from 5 stars. I would recommend this place.

Had brunch on Mother’s Day. The cinnamon roll French toast was dry and hard. One of the plates didn’t come out until the rest of us we almost finished eating. Hate the auctioning off of food. Then they have the nerve to add on a charge for credit cards BEFORE THEY EVEN KNOW HOW YOU ARE GOING TO PAY. I now know why the place was empty. $20 for a dried out hard cinnamon roll and a Spring fling this place needs to rename itself because the real CVPs reputation is great for a reason. Call this one WE CATER TO DRUNK COLLEGE KIDS BECAUSE THEY DON’T KNOW BETTER

Worst customer service EVER! Two bar guys working. My friend and i sat for 20 mins, without being greeted nor offered water. I spoke up to the guy, and he sarcastically said, sorry im busy. We were about to leave, but it’s Sunday and very few options, and opted to stay. He finally took our order. Here comes a white couple, they are IMMEDIATELY greeted and served a drink in minutes. I guess my color, was indicative of the service I received

Went in for lunch with a coworker. We were greeted when we walked in and was told to head to the back bar to get a table. We walked by the bar and couldn’t help but smell something like dirty dishes or a dishrag that had been sitting out too long. The bartender came by to take our order, I had the Cubano, which sounded good, but ended up being not much more than a ham lunch meat sandwich. My coworker ordered the birria tacos and the honey old bay wings. He said the meat for the birria tacos was tender but had no real flavor/seasoning, and the wings were pretty dry. We asked for our checks and placed our cards in our respective jackets, yet somehow they were switched when the bartender swiped. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience.

Nice clean location. The second floor is a nice area to chill. The patio is a nice chill area if you want to be outside.
