Ho hum average French food found in every French restaurant. It may have been popular/good 10 years ago, but is old and no longer relevant. Terrible wine list, which was surprising because it is in wine country. The Creme Brulee was just bland pudding, worst I ever had. We went expecting to be impressed based on the locals we talked to. Left feeling very disappointed. I make better french food at home.

After YEARS of talking about our interest in going here (we’ve worked in Carlton for a long time now), we finally made reservations for a date night. It was worth the hype. The service was diligent, the wine selection was lovely and we LOVED our food. Definitely will be coming back soon.

The lamb chops are beyond perfect! We enjoyed the escargot too, with the extra “sauce” spread on our delicious French bread. Not pictured is the asparagus leek soup. Equally delicious

Great spot, solid service, great wine list. The food was right on par with most 5 star french restaurants around, the lamb was cooked to perfection, you could drink the clam broth and the soup was heaven. Even the creme brulee was great execution just don’t add the rosemary again…the flavor did not go. Still have an 5 out of 5, the Creme Carmel!

Delicious, well prepared food in a cozy restaurant. The fixed-price menu includes their go-to favorites; the specials are always creative and delicious. The winner this visit was a grilled swordfish: cooked to perfection, it was rich with a slight smoky essence. Yum!

This has been the best dining in Carlton hands down for many years. For a 3 course meal Cuvee is actually relative in cost to even the burger joints on the ends of town with so much more added value. You don’t want to miss this gem.
