Hardees in Sherrills Ford, NC – Hours of operation – 9pm…..not tonight (8:13 pm)! Pulled up and smoke rolling out of the gray car. It wasn’t cigarette smoke! Go to the door, door is locked. Two people get out of the car, wait til they think we pull off and then head back out to said car. We pull around thinking maybe drive thru is open (no signage to let you know) and they decide to head back inside. I keep trying to give the local Hardee locations business, but they all have issues. Can’t make a sandwich as ordered, go in to get it corrected and it’s worse the second time around. One wouldn’t let us in because there wasn’t any hot water, but they had a dining room full of customers they were continuing to serve. Went to another location and they let us order but stated dining room was closed, 30 min before posted time. What is going on? I can’t be there at 5 to get my dinner, and I guess I can’t go later after work either. Mind you I didn’t go to the same location, different locations, different days and same poor service! Would not let me leave 0 stars , the only reason it is a 1.

I live very close to this location and now I will be driving farther to the next one cause of the bad experience I have had here. Several times I have been charged incorrectly, such as getting charged for a large drink and getting a small, sandwich prices being incorrect etc. the wait in the drive thru is always long and the food is sometimes overcooked. Staff seems like they try but are overwhelmed most of the time.

This place deserves ZERO stars. Food is always ice cold like it;s been sitting there for hours no matter what time you go. Managment needs to step in and do quality control. Extremely inconsistent. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Do better Hardees or start losing customers. I have plenty of other places to spend my money.

I got a chicken sandwich with chicken tenders, and the sandwich was great! The chicken tenders were for dinner, and when I opened the box later, I discovered the tenders were incredibly small and they had torn 1 tender in half so there were 5 pieces… I’m not sure what’s going on here, and I’m sure it wasn’t any employee’s fault/intention, but maybe don’t rely on a gas station Hardee’s for your chicken tenders!

The staff at this Hardee’s location is FANTASTIC, everyone is super friendly, always smiling, extremely polite and they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. My son works nearby and we get takeout from this location 5-6 times a week and it’s always as ordered. I recently downloaded the app and today I placed an online order for the first time, it was ready in minutes and delivered right to my car. I don’t usually leave reviews but I simply cannot say enough about how great this location is!
