My wife and I were on our way home from swimming. So, we decided to stop at Curtis’ for lunch, and the food was very good. We both had the chicken tender platter. Again, the food was really good. The server was pleasant and she did an awesome job. The atmosphere was also nice. Within the last 3-4 years (I think), they had a brand new building built, and thus, there was a lot more room.

I like this restaurant but I think they need to change in the way they run their business their service is extremely slow because they take takeout orders over people dining in. Which is exactly opposite of what you should be doing at a restaurant. The service is very friendly but very slow. And when it’s time to check out the waitress doesn’t take your check up to the counter you have to sit there and line and wait for 20 minutes because takeout orders and other customers are waiting in front of you which is not what I want to be doing when I’m finished with my meal I want to pay and go I think they really need to change this, this would probably speed there service up to, but it just irritates me to have to wait to pay somebody for food.

Clean place. We ordered fried pickles and two chicken tender meals with fries and slaw. They brought out the appetizer(hot) and the main meal(cool chicken) at the same time. It felt like the chicken was done, but they waited on the fried pickles were done so it cooled down. The fries tasted similar to frozen store bought fries. The fried pickles were hot and delicious. The slaw was good. The waitress was absent until right before we were leaving. The hostess who rang us up was very friendly.

We went there for dinner and it was my first time at this restaurant. Their specialty is fried catfish, but I ordered chicken livers. Big mistake. They were so overcooked I couldn’t even get a fork into them, and it was hard to even find a liver in the overcooked batter. The slaw was good, but scant, and the baked potato was just ok. The service was good for our party of 10, though. If I go there again, I definitely will order something else, but my sister said the fish filet was also way overcooked. Atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, so that’s a plus.

Great food at affordable prices. This restaurant is a great place to eat at anytime. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owner will often come out and check with you to see if everything is good for you. The food is always fresh and delicious!!!
