I just had the most incredible meal and I can honestly say it’s the best vegan Mexican food I’ve ever had. Every dish was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the service was amazing.
The quesadillas were hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy on the outside, melty and savory inside, and so satisfying you’d never guess they’re plant-based. And whatever you do, don’t skip the chocolate chili tart. It’s rich, slightly spicy, and
absolutely unforgettable — a true must-try.
If you love Mexican food (vegan or not), this place is a gem.

I had an amazing experience at Sentir Vegan Mexican Restaurant in Manhattan! The fully vegan Mexican menu is incredibly flavorful – the tacos and plant-based chorizo quesadillas really stood out and tasted like dishes you’d expect from a traditional Mexican kitchen. Don’t forget about churros and citrus tres leches for dessert! The vibe is stylish yet cozy, with thoughtful presentation and a great cocktail selection to match. The staff were friendly and attentive, and even non-vegans in our group were impressed. Highly recommend for a delicious plant-based dinner or casual night out in NYC!

Sentir is a true experience. I’m not vegetarian, and I absolutely love Mexican food — and this place delivers on flavor in a big way. The dishes are vibrant, satisfying, and surprisingly authentic for being fully vegan. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a warm, lively energy that makes the whole meal even better. A must-try spot, whether you’re vegan or just love great Mexican food. We try the plantains, the birriatacos and the flautas

hands down the best meal i had on my trip to nyc. i have had this place saved for a while and decided to visit for dinner and was so impressed. the ambience of the restaurant is lovely and it was pretty full on a saturday night. our server was very attentive (even gave us a light when one of us was struggling to read the menu) and the menu was extensive. we ordered the salsa, the caesar salad, carne asada tacos, and pesca tacos. all were amazing – i especially loved the carne asada tacos and their fake meat was incredible. i was dining with a non vegan who said this was the best vegan meal she has ever had. i also ordered the oaxacan hot chocalate which was super decadent and delicious. portions are quite large and it is definitely worth the price – we left feeling incredibly full. i cant wait to come back again!

The food was so good. It does not taste like vegan food. It is well seasoned and authentic the food and atmosphere were amazing. I just think they’re overpriced. $15 for two tacos is a lot but $27 for three birria tacos is criminal. I get it, it’s a nice place and it’s in the city. Other than that it’s nice for an intimate date night or celebrating an event.

I wish vegan restaurants didn’t try to imitate meat and cook with “fake” meat/fish/cheese (made of who knows what). Why not just reinvent using plants and keep original flavours. As a former meat-eater, it was very unsatisfying to try the salmon and the chorizo quesadillas. None of it makes sense. Dessert was the best part.

One of the best, if not best, vegan restaurants ive ever been to! I’ve been vegan for years and have been to many vegan restaurants – some not so great and some amazing. But this place… I have never had (vegan) meat so tender and beautifully seasoned. The cheese melted to perfection. I can’t find a complaint for anything I ate and I’m so excited to eat more in the future!
I unfortunately didn’t get a picture of the arepitas because we inhaled them but it was my top 5 best bites ever- we all gasped when we ate it lol. My only issue was I wanted more – they should make it as an entree sized dish I would 100% buy. And then I had the birria tacos which was amazing. Ive been wanting to try birria for so long and this filled all my dreams – the consome was amazing and the cheese melted so well with the tender meat. I also got a pina drink that was sooo yummy. My friends and I were blown away and our server was also soo nice and helpful with figuring out what to order. Counting down the days until I can come back! I want to make a TikTok about it next time because I feel like I haven’t heard enough about this place!

We discovered this place by chance, and it was absolutely delicious. A few items were unavailable on the menu but they made up for it with happy hour cocktails, and some incredible dishes. All fully vegan. It was pretty early in the evening so restaurant was fairly quiet but that wasn’t an issue. Would have ordered everything twice over if I wasn’t completely full.

Stunning great range of dishes – fully vegan in a way it should proof everyone how good vegan food is. Tacos, guac, starters, mains like carne asada. All great. Service is quick and friendly. Barkeeper serves excellent drinks including own creations.

Absolutely delicious food – and I have French vegan standards. I am still dreaming of their chocolate tart.
Great atmosphere and good service. Ideal for a date too.
