Welcome to Curry & MoMo House: a family owned establishment! We have the pleasure to serve you the authentic home style recipes from the Himalayan Region – Nepal and India. Our menu starts from scratch, using all the fresh ingredients, herbs and spices of Nepal and India. Ingredients include mountain pepper (Timmur) and Jimbu. Located within a plaza across from Metro Market is this lovely, little restaurant. A great showcase of Nepali and East Indian cuisines specializing in a great array of curries and momos. You can order the mom’s as an entree or appetizer. The lamb ones are fantastic! I’ve tried both the pumpkin lamb and pumpkin chicken and both are so flavorful, delicious and exotic. I have not ran across this type of dish on travels. Their ‘hot’ level of spice is perfect for a slow burn, but may be too much for a novice. Looking forward to a return to continue you exploring many more of their dishes! Decent size variety of vegetarian dishes, too.

My partner and I came in for the first time and enjoyed every single thing we ate. We went with medium spice level but they were nice enough to bring us some pepper on the side per request. The servers were lovely and kind. Food came out quick and hot! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu

Amazing food and friendly staff. Everything we had was incredibly delicious and comforting. Perfect for the misty/rainy weather we had that day. We will absolutely be going again. Saw a lot of people doing take out as well.

Wonderful cuisine and experience! We enjoyed pumpkin chicken, chicken biryani, samosas, momo, nan, and mango lassi. All the flavors were wonderful and each dish was prepared to perfection. Pleasant service, good smells, and tasteful music which allowed conversation. Definitely a place to return to.

Our Nepali friend took us here because it’s his favorite place in the Milwaukee area that serves authentic Nepali (with Indian dishes as options as well). I really enjoyed the Veggie Momo, and it was even better in the soup style – jho. The Nepali chicken curry was good, and everything was nicely portioned. Definitely worth the price! The rice pudding dessert was also tasty and for only $3 fed our table of four! The service was attentive and kind. We went on a cold winter night, so the only downfall was the draft whenever the door opened. Overall, i highly recommend! I want to go back and try the palak paneer.

Wow, wish I could give more than five stars. We ordered lamb jalfrezi (medium), shrimp biryani (medium), momo platter, garlic naan and mango lassis. Food was incredible. Favorite was the biryani. Service was so friendly also. Don’t live in the area and am jealous that there is no comparable place where I live.

My husband and I originally were going to go to kings wok next door. We’ve been there 10+ times but we decided to try the place next door. It was empty so I was a little hesitant. We walked in and were greeted right away we sat down and had no idea what to order. The food was hot and delicious! The cheese nan was amazing! Best decision ever!!! Will come again !

Finally had a chance to try Momo out and I was VERY glad I did! The restaurant has a pleasant, spacious and clean atmosphere about it that is easy to move around in and nice to soak in! The service was great on all fronts; attentive, aware, and always around if you need something! The food was Fricken great! Sample platter, lentil soup, lamb curry and rice and rice puffing, all were great tasty made how I liked it and hard not to wolf down! Momo is a great place if you ask me and I’d DEFINITELY recommend it I’d asked to!

Four of us went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty empty, so we were seated immediately and in a spot we chose by the window. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside is bright, airy and comfortable. If you’ve never experienced this type of cuisine, the staff is very helpful in answering questions and making recommendations. For my first visit, I had the Steamed Chicken Momo and asked for a spicy sauce. Both were delicious, and there was plenty to share. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying something new!
