This is my second time coming back to this restaurant. I loved everything! The waiter is so friendly! Very polite, kind, and attentive, making sure we had an excellent experience. The food didn’t take long to arrive, and it came in a good quantity with amazing flavor!! I really loved this Indian food, so much!
I ordered the special coconut chicken curry (check out the specials on the last page of the menu), the chicken tikka masala, plain naan, steamed rice (the best I’ve had from all the restaurants I’ve been to, including one with a 4-month waitlist here in San Francisco), because they put special care into adding spices to the rice, and the biryani. I ordered everything mild, but even the mild biryani was still very spicy. So I didn’t order it the second time because that pepper is just too strong for me. Still, it was delicious.
Note: The only downside is that they could organize the bathroom better. It was missing toilet paper.
We came from Florida today and wanted to try some Indian food, but this restaurant was a complete disappointment from start to finish.
First, the service was terrible. One gentleman was extremely rude and kept arguing with us right at the table. When we politely asked him to suggest their best dishes, he simply said, “Check the menu,” in a very disrespectful tone. He even spoke to us in his own language, even though we clearly told him we are not from his country. This behavior was unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable.
Then the food arrived — and it was even worse.
Chicken Biryani: This wasn’t biryani at all. It tasted like fried rice mixed with some random chicken pieces. Absolutely no flavor, no aroma — nothing.
Garlic Naan: Hard like a biscuit. Not soft, not fresh, not edible.
Chicken Curry: No taste, no spice, no flavor. Just a watery, bland, 3rd-class dish.
To make it worse, the bill was way too expensive for such low-quality food. If the food was good, we could understand the price, but this was honestly the worst experience.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible service, terrible behavior, and terrible food
