I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered here. Lately, I really enjoy the hummus. I also like to pick up a whole free range chicken to prep at home and then make bone broth. The salmon is so delicious! I also like to stop in real quick and pick up a pack of pickled green beans and chips if I need a pick-me-up. It’s also a great place to get food if you want to walk and look around the village. The owner is such a kind woman and her staff are incredibly helpful.
Thank you for providing such yummy food and good service Current Cuisine!
I’ll be curious to try them again in a catering context someday, as I have a feeling that’s where they really shine.
Highly recommend! 5 stars!
Unfortunately, our experience on February 17th, 2026 was deeply disappointing.
My husband entered the restaurant when it was quiet. There was no line, and he had been standing inside looking at the baguettes for a few minutes, by himself. Two staff members came out from the back and did not acknowledge him. A white woman then entered the store and was immediately greeted with “Can I help you?”
My husband had clearly been there first.
When he calmly questioned whether they intended to skip over him, he was met with defensiveness and told not to speak to the employee’s daughter that way — despite not raising his voice or being disrespectful.
Being ignored and then treated as though he had done something wrong for asserting his place in line felt dismissive and uncomfortable. As Black customers, experiences like this are not minor.
We value businesses that treat all customers with equal acknowledgment and respect. Unfortunately, this interaction has caused us to reconsider returning.
We hope ownership takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all guests are welcomed consistently and fairly.
I’m a vegetarian, and I’m also in school to become a dietitian, so I am always looking for nutritious grab-and-go options. My lunch was tasty, and, if I remember correctly, cost less than $8. They had plenty of choices and many dessert options, too. I went back and bought a brownie, and boy, was it good!
