Horrible Service! I had high expectations about this place because I read good reviews about Curlee’s. We came there for lunch today and sat outside. Server came and we ordered our drinks and the citrus salad with shrimps and the lettuce wedge with oysters, two of their signature dishes. After 45 minutes we left because we still didn’t get our food and no server could be found to ask about the status of our order. This was a ridiculous experience. We saw customers across the street in a restaurant arriving after us and leaving before we left. I guess that will the place next time I am out for lunch. Unbelievable! 🙁

The service is hands down the absolute worst I have ever experienced. Our waitress downed her staff to us saying the bar tender was f****** stupid and they were all retarded and then started to down the cooks. No it was simply her, we were her only table and she was sitting on her boyfriends lap the rest of the evening. The food was good, but that does not make up for the horrible service. Walked in the doors at 7pm with 3 other couples at tables and just now leaving at 9:20. With the other 3 couples here.

Sat night music too loud, some people might like but impossible to talk & I think wait staff messed up order because she could not hear. We’re a table of three & she brings 4 glasses of water. Other issues but this one should be doing dishes.

Great service and the food was so good. Our server Emily was great….very friendly. The price is a little high, but the shrimp and grits had so much flavor. We had the crabcakes and they were perfect.Great atmosphere.

Horrible experience. Scallops were undercooked and cold. Did not get the salad and bread listed on the menu. Did not get wine ordered. Fried oysters had no seasoning not even salt. Paid too much for so little. Do not waste your money or time on this place

We went last night 4/1/17. There was hardly anybody in there. We waited 15 minutes before we got up and left because no one would wait on us. No one ever came by to take our drinks or asked if we had been waited on. They looked understaffed and had already had people complaining about the service. One waitress cleaned off tables and then went and chatted with the lady bartender which looked like they were gossiping rather serving us. Horrible customer service and probably won’t be going back.

Food is good! The boiled shrimp and oysters are the best in Rome. It is always clean. BUT… It is very dark, very loud and seems to always be understaffed, so service is slow and it is hard to carry on a conversation.

First impression is more of a dive bar, but the food is amazing. I make a point to stop here at least once when traveling to Rome. The food is simple with huge flavor, prices are more than reasonable.
