We had an awesome private party for 40 people at Cucina Moderna earlier this evening. The manager, Juan, his staff and especially our head servers, Alex and Courtney were amazing! All of our guests were very impressed with the excellent service and delicious food. We couldn’t have been more pleased with everything. We will return here for many dinners and occasions in the future. And so will all our friends who attended this fabulous party.

The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and would love to return and sit on the patio or the open bar window. We all had gelato which was top notch. You get salad and gelato with your dinner if you go in between 5 and 6 PM.

We recently had a New York 50 Year High School Mini-Reunion Lunch for 8 at the Cucina Moderna Boynton Beach location. Restaurant staff were very accommodating and provided a circular indoor table. Food and service were superb. Zach was an excellent waiter and ensured that all went smoothly for a group of people who had so much to reminisce about! Lunch specials were fabulous. The restaurant is a great place to socialize and have fun in the community! Highly recommended!

I really didn’t want to leave a low review because I genuinely love this place. I come here often, and the food—especially the calamari—is always amazing. The male servers have consistently been wonderful to my husband and me, which is why this experience was so disappointing.
My husband (who is Caucasian) and I (a Black woman) are in an interracial marriage, and we’ve never had an issue here before. However, this past Saturday, we sat at the bar and were served by a young woman. She took our order but never once checked on us, never acknowledged us afterward, and completely ignored us throughout our time there.
When it was time to get the check, I had to ask three times before she finally responded, to the point where I unfortunately had to raise my voice just to be acknowledged. That should never be necessary.
I can’t say what her intentions were, but the discomfort and lack of basic service were very noticeable, and the energy felt different than what we’re used to here. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name—she was blonde and wore her hair in two braids/pigtails to the side that day.
I want to be very clear: this low rating is not because of the food or the establishment. The food is excellent, and most of the staff is kind and professional. This review is solely based on the experience with this one server, which was disappointing and uncomfortable.
I truly hope management addresses this, because this restaurant is otherwise a place I really enjoy and want to continue supporting.

Three hours. That’s how long we sat there like idiots waiting for food that turned out to be completely wrong. Not one plate matched what we ordered. When we told the manager, he acted like we were inconveniencing him. No apology, no accountability — just pure attitude (especially to women).
For a $250 bill, we got cold, incorrect food, zero service, and the kind of arrogance you’d expect from a place that thinks lighting and music can distract from being an absolute trainwreck of a restaurant.
If you want to waste your night, your money, and your patience, this is the place. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and run — not walk — to literally anywhere else. Cucina Moderna is an overpriced, chaotic disaster run by people who clearly don’t give a damn.

Mel poured some great drinks. Very friendly took care of us well.
Meatballs were ok. I personally didn’t care for them as I don’t like pork and veal in my Meatballs that’s what I’m basing my review on. Someone else who likes those types of Meatballs may LOVE them, just not me.
Pizza was good, we’ve had better from there and this one was ok.
We will be back though.

The service was very prompt. All 5 of us e joked our meal. Their Gelato is outstanding. I had the chicken picatta. Loved it. The chicken melted in.my mouth. My friends had veal parm, and veal francese. They enjoyed theirs. The veal was tender. They have a sunset menu which include an entre, salad and Gelato and a soft drink or coffee. We sat outside so we can hear each.other. inside is very loud.
