This place is absolutely outrageous for numerous reasons. Firstly the owners are extremely unwelcoming, and i felt very uncomfortable in their presence. The woman greeted me with a stare of disgust when my wife and i walked in. it was extremely hot in the store and i felt horrible for the employees working there. The woman behind the deli case was friendly and helpful, however you can tell employees are not happy to be there, I don’t blame them. The food in the cases were clearly not fresh like advertised and overpriced. The pricing was the least of my concern for this establishment, The owners need to learn how to be more welcoming and inviting especially since it’s a newer business.

I was brought here by my sister. We were on our way to the German Butcher Shop, yet wanted to check this “new to us” place out. All I can say is, everything was made fresh on-site. There was a plethora of FRESHLY MADE Bread, Italian cookies, and take home heat up meals. Turns out the bread is made FRESH DAILY. There was more available, if we were there earlier in the morning. The staff was genuinely accepting and willing to help assist you with any questions or needs. Next time, I will plan on getting there in the morning.

Went there Saturday July 1st…looking to get some sandwiches & dessert. They had ground beef in the front case…they were beyond brown….what a turnoff. That was bad meat & shouldn’t be in the case, should’ve been in the garbage. Then we went to bakery. We got a an Italian pastry which I will say was super fresh but the employee pushed for us to get a piece of imported Italian cheesecake…which we did but it was not fresh in fact we threw it out. We’ve met the owners and I’m surprised that thus is happening…step it up guys or you will lose your customers.

I felt a very dark and uncomfortable vibe from the woman who introduced herself to me as the owner. The building itself is spacious as well as clean, noticed the staff up front cleaning and were extremely friendly. The sandwich I purchased was made on hot fresh bread and excellent service. Woman at the cashiers station and deli were very busy both were working hard and seemed very kind. The temperature on the other hand was on another level of hell. When my wife asked said owner about the air conditioning she asked us to sit in the Cafe where it was much cooler.. I assume that’s where her office is or her workers that she cares about are..because not only are these dangerous working conditions for staff but the food was going bad. I saw that the items I purchased the week prior from the deli were moved and I saw the meat in the front case had started to turn colors. I also purchased a salad made with mayonnaise that my wife felt very sick after consuming. I was surprised that the owner blamed her landlord for an air conditioning problem being as though it is a commercial rental and renters typically cover the expenses. Either way the idea of this in our neighborhood is wonderful yet the attitude of the woman I met who prompted me to E mail about the temperature was very dry and sarcastic and could be seen speaking poorly and rudely to others as well as rolling her eyes and clapping her hands together loudly… yet forcing a fake phony smile through clenched teeth. I know that this type of business isn’t for everyone but if she doesn’t have a passion for food service she should try another profession. I will not be back because of her attitude but the boars head products the bread and the packaged goods were wonderful. This is constructive criticism and not to be rude. Sometimes an open mind towards opinions of your customers can motivate you to change a few things. I’ve lived in ocean county for 52 years and I’ve seen many businesses come and go. If you want to succeed you need to do more than be fake and phony to push expensive products on people. It seems you have a lack of workers relying soley on a couple of workers and I can see why everytime I come back it seems to lessen.

Absolutely the best Italian market in the area. Prepared foods are fresh and delicious with a great selection, the sandwiches are made to order with care, extensive selection of fresh breads and pastries as well as many quality Italian pastas, sauces and grocery items. All this with a super friendly staff. Congratulations on a job well done!

Stopped in the Cucina Fresca Cafe (side of the building) to grab some desserts and enjoyed everything! The carrot cake and red velvet were professional quality cakes! Thank God Bayville finally has a real Italian market and bakery! Will definitely recommend to others and be back soon. Ciao!

Very good sandwiches… the bread is awesome. The reason why I am giving 4 stars is due to the high prices. Overall a solid Italian deli that was needed in this area.

Top notch real Italian Deli. What I mean by real is they have real cured cold cuts like the real capicola and make fresh mozzarella, they even occasionally have prosciutto cotto , not many even understand what that is….and have all the Italian goodies you would find at real NY or North Jersey Deli’s. Also that have a butcher section while it isn’t cheap I just ate yesterday one of the best rib eyes I ever had. If your used to real Italian delis like they have up north NJ , I highly recommend this place.
