Cuba Libre opened its first location in Old City, Philadelphia in 2000, giving guests a passport to Cuba’s intriguing flavors and culture. The restaurant’s name, which translates to a free Cuba, signifies a hope for the future of the treasured island nation.The cuisines of different ethnicities have been gently simmered in the cultural cauldron of Cuba to create what is now the Criollo (home-style) cuisine of the island. Blending native ingredients and cooking traditions with those of South America, Spain, Africa, Asia and several others, Cuban cuisine is a savory mix that reflects its colorful culture.

My daughter requested that I share her experience at this restaurant while she was out on a girl’s trip a few weeks ago. She raved about it, so, I had to do some reach being I haven’t eaten from there myself. YET! Cuba Libre is also located in Philadelphia and Washington DC. We have been here several times & this was our first visit with our children. We all absolutely loved everything we ordered! The manager is a very nice lady who is easy to talk to, we always try to make a reservation ahead of time. The drinks are great. This place gives me Miami vibes! Loveee the food!!!!! My husband and I get a shareable entree & even the kids asked for some! Delicious, clean, cozy and definitely an enjoyable time!

Amazing food and service! From the moment we walked in the doors, we received exceptional service and were even given complementary champagne for our special occasion. The food was exceptional, some of the best I have ever tasted in my entire life! Phenomenal food, service and atmosphere. I wanted to thank the staff for squeezing us in even though we had no reservations and they were at full capacity. They really went above and beyond to accommodate. This restaurant was one of my favorite parts from visiting Atlantic city. Memorable experience. We ordered the gaucho plate for 2 which included surf and turf and was so filling we couldn’t finish. The prices are excellent as well!

We love dining at Cuba Libre every time we visit AC. It is always a great experience. The food is delicious. The staff are very friendly, polite and informative. We enjoy its ambience and music.
