I probably ate an entire week’s worth of calories in one meal and probably cut a few years off my life, but totally worth it. They give you massive portions. I split my meal with my friend and we were stuffed by the end of it.

The shrimp and grits, crab croquettes and deep fried pound cake were heavenly. Loved the crispy crust on the cake. Croquettes were also filled with quite a bit of crab. Portion sizes here were just massive.

Also surprised by the massive selection of pastry stouts on the menu. I love these but struggle to find them where I’m at despite some of these breweries being closer to me than Savannah.

I also liked how the rustic feel of the place with artifacts from history hung all over the walls.

Not a place I would visit often for my own health, but man was the food good.

We visited Crystal Beer Parlor today with our family to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It’s always been one of our favorite local spots, and overall, we had a nice experience. The food was very tasty, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, which we truly appreciated—especially on a busy holiday.

We had to wait a bit longer than usual, and the portions seemed a little smaller than we remembered. However, despite that, it’s still a great restaurant to stop by for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere and quality of the food keep us coming back.

We’ll definitely visit again!

Nice spot. Drinks are good. Ordered the duck wings, lasagna in a cup (I recommend the bowl ), hamburger steak meal with mashed potatoes and collard greens. I should have stuck with the lasagna and collard greens. Truly enjoyed those items. I also liked the peach cobbler with ice cream. That’s good too. All in all a chill little spot

Crystal Beer Parlor remains a Savannah must-visit if you appreciate simple, delicious food served in sizable portions.
I highly recommend the fried oysters—they were so fresh I practically devoured the whole plate—and the onion rings were perfectly crispy and tasty.
The atmosphere is wonderfully nostalgic, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. It’s the perfect spot for a reliable, satisfying meal in a great setting.

Great food and atmosphere. Extremely busy and a 30 minute wait to be seated well worth the wait without a doubt. Portions and drinks were large food came out fresh and hot. Please try their fried pound cake!

Everything was amazing. We went to Savannah for a quick get-a-way and wanted to try different food. This place did not disappoint at all. We tried the pound cake, cobbler, shrimp & grits, lobster stew, duck wings, greens, and seafood platter and nothing was less than delicious. I highly recommend trying this place.

If you’re looking for flavorful food and great service, don’t look any further. Coming to Savannah for our anniversary, we wanted the southern feel, we found it here. We were a little confused on how to get into the building from parking on the street, so be sure to park in their actual parking lot. It’ll save you a few steps! Lol.. But once inside, there was no confusion. Our waitress, Kerri was simply one of the best. She was hospitable, answered questions we had, suggested various options to optimize our experience while being fiscally practical, and quite intentional in everything she did to delight us. The food… we had (don’t judge us lol) crab stew, crab hushpuppies, duck wingettes, shrimp and grits, seafood combo (grouper fingers, founder filet, and fried shrimp with a side of collards), fried poundcake, and peach cobbler. We ate like royalty and everything just kept getting better. Now be careful, those wings are spicy as they’re served with a sweet chili sauce. So if you’re not into spice, look to the hushpuppies which is simply a crabcake… DELIGHTFUL. I paired mine with the crab stew and again, simply amazing. I went for the fried poundcake which tasted like a funnel cake to me but great. It’s served with ice cream and was a sweet treat to end our evening.

Lucky find returning from Forsyth Park to the river side. A renovated ice factory with all the old world charm an Irish pub should have. Fab food and drinks too.

Fried Oysters: 10/10 – THE best I’ve had in years. And a big portion

Flounder Ruben: 8/10 – light flakey and tasty.

Red Rice: 9/10 – so so so good.

Home made chips: 7/10 – simple but fresh. I recommend some old bay to kick them up a notch.

Collards greens: 9/10 – perfectly cooked and piping hot.

Peach Cobbler : 8/10 – a Dutch crumble topping and full of peaches. Not canned peaches either. Served with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Old Fashioned: 10/10 – THE BEST I’ve had in a long time. Sean the bartender is great!

Atmosphere: 7/10 – could use a little make over to freshen up the old world vibe

Parking: hard to find, but there is a big lot way in the back
