Amazing place to eat out! Loved the food and the dessert is a must! I ordered the no bun hamburger with the Greek salad and ocilla slaw. The Greek salad was the best I’ve ever had. For dessert I highly recommend the peach cobbler. Service was friendly and prompt.

Excellent blue crab dip. Onion ring on the “bowl of soul” was best I’ve ever had – would come back just to get them. Grits, collards and pork in the bowl were all good. Husband thought the hamburger and fries were average. Service couldn’t have been any better from hostess to our server. Pretty quick too. Definitely recommend.

Accidentally stumbled upon this gem. We had a hard time deciding what to order but the server was very helpful and kind to us. We decided on a pick 3 seafood plate: blackened shrimp were delicious and flavourful, fried flounder was melt in your mouth smooth, crab cakes were good just not a flavour for me. For sides we had the red rice which was nice and the coleslaw which I enjoyed quite a lot.

This was a nice stop for lunch while visiting Savannah. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We had the ‘peach cobbler’ for dessert and it was a good dessert but it wasn’t peach cobbler. It was what we call a dump cake. Fruit on the bottom with a crumbly cake dumped on top before baking. Real southern cobbler has a thicker soft crust with some crisp areas around the edges. I’ve had some of the best peach cobbler at other places, this isn’t one. However, everything tasted fine and I would return and recommend this restaurant.

Great stuff all around. Excellent shrimp and grits, wonderful drink selection, convenient location. Not inexpensive, but high quality. One of the best peach cobblers I’ve had.

We stopped by here just for a beer – great stop. About 20 beers on tap from all over the USA. Very nice venue – seating inside and outside (covered cement area). It’s an old school place since 1933 – Savannah history on the walls.

I haven’t been here in many years, but it had nothing to do with the food, service or atmosphere. I just moved around a bunch. The food was fantastic (shrimp and grits) and the server (Daniel) was too. We had a large party and he never missed an opportunity to serve. Everyone in our party cleaned their plates. Highly recommend giving it a try.

I think I had the best collards, mac n’cheese, and blackened shrimp I’ve ever eaten. Oh, and THE best peach cobbler a la mode I’ve ever had, too! The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful old building with good food and drinks. It’s kinda difficult to find out how to enter the business but after going around out back there is a covered porch area that is where we finally went through. Food was good and service was fine. Check it out
