As a restaurant located inside the Motto Hotel in Chinatown, it offers good enough food for people who want to sustenance themselves with a quick bite. I also enjoyed how quiet it was because it allowed my friend and I to chat for quite a while undisturbed. Since the hotel gave me some food credits to use here, I was able to make the most use of it.
Pretty much everything tasted like what one would imagine when ordering these items: conventionally good. The mimosa tasted just like champagne and orange juice combined. The croissant had a very flaky exterior and tasted good enough. The matcha tea latte was within my expectations, made from powder and tasting like the other mixes I have had before. The fried chicken sandwich had a good lime chili sauce which elevated the flavor of the fried chicken. The chicken was well made because it was tasty and crunchy. But the cheese that was placed on top of the chicken wasn’t completely melted, which impacted the tasting experience. In terms of flavor, it was good.
Overall I would recommend this place for those staying in the hotel because one can make good use of the credits they get (if applicable), and can enjoy some good quiet time with friends during daytime. I believe it gets noisier in the evening and many people would go downstairs for drinks, as I had heard loud music from the basement while staying in the hotel.

Came here Friday night. Was super excited after seeing the pictures with views from the rooftop bar/restaurant so I got reservations but unfortunately was disappointed. Maybe I missed it somewhere but had to find out after being seated in the dungeon of the restaurant that the rooftop area is only open during a certain time of year. Ummm, I would think that would be the main attraction. The money maker. So they should figure it out and winterize it or something. So yeah after being deceived we ended up ordering a round and some food which was ight. Cut our losses and kept it moving. Honestly could have just skip this place altogether. I am giving it a 4 star because I don’t like giving bad reviews but it’s really a 3 star.

I wish I could rate the downstairs whiskey bar separately from the upstairs “diner” area. We often come here before or after seeing a movie at Regal.
The food here is always delicious. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was super super yummy. The service is another topic. Our servers were overall friendly, but not knowledgeable and a little standoffish. The vibe upstairs is not always it.
Downstairs we always have an incredible time and the bartenders are excellent at their job and incredibly knowledgeable.

I haven’t tried the food here yet but it always looks and smells good when someone else orders and it passes by me. Otherwise, very cool and classy space with great bartenders that offer NA beers and mocktails for those of us who don’t drink. They do close earlier than other bars so I wish they stayed open just a bit later.

I went with coworkers last night, on a saturday before a capitals game. This place is a hidden gem, I am very pleased with our experience. I have been to the rooftop before, which was closed, but the downstairs speakeasy-esque bar area is top notch. I think we lucked out because the venue was not overly packed like other venues near the arena. Bartenders had excellent service and we all had a blast! thank you, we will be back!

I had a problem at the bar. Junusry 29 we went for dinner and I ordered at the bar. The waiter asked for my card and I gave it to him, and then he gave it back to me. I understood that I had paid. Later we had dinner and ordered more beers. A girl with multicolored hair brought us the bill for the total, so I thought, well, they probably didn’t charge me for the first payment and I paid the total in cash. Juntarte 30 I see that the payment is also on my card, meaning I paid twice.
That’s why I went to talk to the girl at the cafe who speaks Spanish and explained the situation. She said she would talk to the manager. I gave her my email address and phone number, but no one has contacted me. I’ve been waiting for days for my $100 refund.
