zinqué is a beloved neighborhood hotspot & all-day restaurant serving French-inspired dishes, small plates, craft cocktails & a uniquely curated wine selection. Inspired by the zinc countertop bars & cafés of Paris, many of its customers consider it a second home—a place to work, linger & socialize. Open from 7am till late, the space transforms from a European-style bistro & café, serving full breakfast with La Colombe coffee drinks & its famous Le Bowl for lunch, to full service dining at night. Live music, guest DJs, art workshops & wine tastings also make it a favorite community hangout. (zin-kæ)
French-influenced coffeehouse meets bistro & wine bar in an artsy, minimalist atmosphere.

Upon arrival, our dog was reprimanded for being on the bench, which set an unwelcoming tone ….also you can see the condition of the benches in the picture The menu itself was overwhelming and poorly designed—the font looks like a dictionary, and the descriptions were not enticing or helpful. No recommendations were offered by the staff, which made navigating the menu even more difficult.
Service was inconsistent. Food arrived at different times rather than together, and the only check-in from our server was a flat “you doing ok?”—no real engagement. Notably, only the support staff smiled or appeared friendly.
As for the food:
The smoked salmon with potato gratin was enjoyable and the highlight of the meal.
There was a guy roaming around the entire dining room charging a vape in an outlet in the corner
The mussels were disappointing; the broth tasted cold and had an overpowering fennel flavor.
The quiche arrived burnt.
The “salad” that accompanied the quiche was simply mixed greens—this is not a salad, just a side of greens tossed in an extremely acidic dressing.
On a positive note, the bathroom was clean, which I do appreciate.
Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and inattentive, especially given the reputation. There’s potential here, but improvements in service, menu clarity, and execution are needed.
The atmosphere is simply mesmerizing — both the interior and exterior are beautifully designed. It’s tucked away in a quiet location, and the back patio is stunning, with a cozy heated terrace that makes it perfect for any time of year.
One of the coolest surprises was the stylish little shop inside where you can buy Zinqué merch. The bar and seating areas are also beautifully arranged, giving the whole place a chic and welcoming vibe.
We loved the modern touch of being able to order through a QR code — it’s such a smart feature, especially since you can see photos of each dish before ordering. Speaking of the food — it was absolutely magical! Huge compliments to the chef for crafting such a delicious and thoughtful menu. Even the coffee cups and plates were elegant and added to the overall experience.
This place is truly a gem!
The only downside — many of the indoor seats were taken up by people working on laptops, essentially turning the restaurant into a co-working space. It felt a bit out of place for such a beautiful spot meant for dining and relaxing. You can even see it clearly in some of the photos.
The staff really makes the place special. Justin and Francesco on the floor and Nathan at the bar are all super friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun to chat with. It feels like a neighborhood spot.
Perfect for brunch with friends, a date night, or anything in between. I even come here to work sometimes, great vibe for posting up or casual work meetings. Highly recommend.
