Five-Star Outing to Creekside Bakery!
Today’s visit to Creekside Bakery was a true delight for our Atria residents — especially for Rick K., who shared his culinary insights with us! Rick spent over two decades as the head cook at the Sacramento County Juvenile Center, and it was such a treat to see him light up as we explored the bakery’s creative menu.
We enjoyed roasted banana squash soup paired with a glass of wine, followed by a delicious apple pecan chicken salad sandwich. We ended our meal with a perfect cappuccino and some freshly baked pastries — the aroma alone was worth the trip! ☕
Thank you, Creekside Bakery, for the warm welcome and wonderful flavors. Five stars from all of us at Atria Tamalpais Creek! ✨

After our workout at GActive, my gym friends, instructor, and I decided to try this coffee shop—and wow, what a find! The place is super cute, cozy, and full of yummy treats. The staff is so friendly and even asked if we wanted a coffee refill.
I had a latte and a ham & cheese croissant—absolutely loved it! I liked it so much that I came back the very next day for more (no regrets ). Plenty of parking, too, which makes it even better. Highly recommend!

Great place with a very nice menu along with wonderful pastry and bakery display cases – I always enjoy coming here for a family lunch, however today I want to give a big and special shout out to the manager. He was extremely engaging while touching and serving tables, along with bussing. Plus he was extremely apologetic for a slight service delay, which we didn’t even notice and we shared how everything was great and no worries, then he stopped by our table with a plate of his favorites, which my family now say are their favorite cookies- amazing job and thank you from a local raving fan

Second time here and my experience was just as good as the first time. Their signature breakfast sando is off the charts. Worth every penny and it takes quite a few. This time around I wasn’t able to enjoy it until hours later. Even at room temperature it was unforgettable. Next time I’m giving myself time to enjoy it there. They offer other fantastic baked goods as well. I need to make this a regular stop when passing through town. Oh and the staff, Travis has been there both times I visited and he is such a welcoming soul. I really love this place!

Creekside is a local delight with farm fresh foods, beautifully seasoned with interesting (and often seasonal) flavors, perfectly cooked or baked, and served by nice people. Their seasonings always strike me as something special and never average. Today a few of us shared quiche, chicken salad sandwich with side salad, cinnamon roll, and chocolate button cookies. The milk bun rolls were soft and fluffy, and the chicken salad was filled with wonders. Everything else was great too. Thanks to the owner and employees for all the care they put into this.

Had to update my review from 8 years ago. I have loved this place my whole life (been going ever since i was a little girl), but it seems they have changed quite a few of their recipies or processes with how they make stuff. It is still “good”, but not nearly as “fantastically great” as it used to be. Their Florentines are more like toffee chocolate nut pucks, the blueberry pockets arent fluffy anymore, and the eclairs arent the two pieces of puff pastry with custard or cream in the middle, but a more dense and smaller pastery injected with cream… really sad about it, because even after moving out of state we always made a trip here and spend almost $100 in pastries each time, but I think we won’t be making the added out of our way stop anymore.
If we loved closer I would probably still stop by every now and again, the food is still good and the service and atmosphere are wonderful, just not as worth the cost and calories, sad to see.

we stopped in on our way up to guernville. creekside feels like a time capsule of the 70s. the huge circle window is a gem. we had to hit the road asap but i wish we had time to sit and enjoy our food there. the breakfast sandwich is super popular and highly recommended

Went on a beautiful sunny day, almost every seat was full. Beautiful spot with outdoor seating. The building, best spot in Novato. Happy to see the business doing so well. The bread is what made my salmon dish over the top good.
