Have never had anything other than a great meal here, eating in or taking away, over a number of years.
Staff are great, friendly. Collection times always spot on. Prices are more than reasonable too.
Would strongly recommend to anyone in the area.

First time coming here – ordered take out for 4 people with various meals. Only a 30 minute wait. Managed to park across the road – not loads of parking nearby that I could see, but it was dark.
The staff were friendly and professional and it was clean and tidy inside. It could maybe do with a bit of light background music for the atmosphere. There were already a few people dining inside which was good going for a Monday early evening.
The food was very nice, can’t really say anything bad about it. We’ve gone to another nearby take out for years, as well as loads around the area – we’re from Whickham so a bit of a drive, but this one was just as good and we’ll definitely return.

Absolutely delicious food and very reasonably priced. We had a shared tandoori mixed meat starter and then ordered lamb madras and chicken tuk tuk for our mains with mushroom pilau and a nan bread. The lamb literally did melt in your mouth. Both main courses had fab sauces and the rice and nan were perfect. Would highly recommend.

If you want a delicious meal with superb service, Crawcrook Tandoori is the place! We have been getting take away from here for years and almost always perfect.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Food is really tasty, starters were great, but I felt the main courses needed to have more sauce. Flavours were good though, and I would still go again.

Got a takeaway last night. The first time I’ve been, I won’t be going back. The curry I ordered had no flavour. The poppadoms had no crispiness. Very substandard, the onion bhaji wasn’t good eithe.
Didn’t enjoy at all.

We came here for takaway food during our holiday. I must say it was one of the finest currys I have had in a long time. Really fresh food and excellent service. They even gave us a couple of bottles of Cobra as our order was ober £60. Hugely recommended.
