Sassy Bleu is a Southern comfort restaurant where we serve great food, warm vibes, and an atmosphere that feels like home. All of our food is made cooked to order so beware this is not your typical fast-food restaurant. if you are looking for exquisite flavorful dishes that reminds you of your grandmothers cooking this is the place to be. It was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. The food was on point! The server, Alzaria, had great recommendations. We had soul rolls and oyster mushrooms for appetizers and they did not dissapoint. We had fried chicken, cabbage, corn pudding, and lamb chops with corn pudding. Both dishes were served with hot honey corn bread. The portion sizes were great. Every bite was delicious!

I ordered a to go order the weekly $15 dinners. I ordered around 9:50 they close at 11 I decided on catfish along with Mac and cheese and greens for my sides it also came with cornbread. Overall it was ok at best I feel like hot sauce and tartar sauce would have added the flavor that was missing(none was in the bag) For being fried it tasted fishier than expected. The corn bread was too sweet the greens were also a lil sweeter than I’m used to and the Mac and cheese was a lil soupy (maybe it was kept in a pan before plating) overall sassy bleu has competition from Mimi’s and Honey J’s & blue skillet I hope the food quality improves I heard the egg rolls and sweet potato casserole are a must have so I’ll be back to give them a try. With my first experience I’d have to say the competition has them beat with food quality and price

I gave sassy Bleu another chance and I’m glad I did. This time I got a veggie plate & soul rolls with cabbage sweet potato casserole and greens. The greens were great the sweet potato casserole was great sweet but not too sweet. The cornbread was better this time also . I didn’t like the cabbage the peppers added weren’t bad they just were a lil much took away from the cabbage.
The soul rolls just didn’t do it for me I could taste the sweet potato and see the greens but it was pretty plan tasting in my opinion. Either way way better experience than last time I ordered to go again and was grateful this time they added plastic ware and napkins

Took a day date ( lunch ) with my husband. Super impressed the quantity and quality ( am a true foodie). My catfish was fried hard as I asked. Everything was well seasoned. Will most definitely be back.

I recently had dinner at Sassy Bleu’s and it was a great experience from start to finish.
I ordered the Southern catfish dinner, and the food was absolutely flavorful and well-seasoned. The catfish was fried perfectly with a crispy coating while still tender on the inside, and the sides complemented the meal really well.
What stood out just as much as the food was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out quickly. The service was fast without sacrificing quality, which made the whole experience even better.
The prices were also very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes and quality of the meal.
If you’re in Lexington and looking for delicious Southern food, great customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Sassy Bleu’s is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back!

I have dined at Sassy Bleu twice and both experiences have been a culinary masterpiece. The food is fresh, amazing, portioned well, plated beautifully and fall off the bone fantastic. You will not leave there hungry and your tastebuds will be more than satisfied that you chose to dine at this hidden gem.
The atmosphere is euphoric. There is a feel of warmth and love soon as you step in. The smell from the kitchen excites you, the music gives you that relaxed home feel and watching food come out to other tables has you asking “what is that” and saying ” I’m absolutely ordering that next time I come in”.
As exquisite as the food is, and as intimate of an atmosphere, the service is the game winner of this fine establishment. Kind, warm and friendly. Our server/bartender Jaelyn (hopefully spelled right) sets the standard in service and mixology. Their delicious cocktail menu has 9 drinks and I’ve tried 4 and been absolutely blown away. It is quite obvious she is highly skilled, and a value to the business without a doubt.
In summary if you’re looking for a restaurant tucked away in Lexington with a home like feel, delicious cocktails, immaculate southern cuisine from a well run kitchen and top shelf service of a family oriented design you have found it in Sassy Bleu. They have certainly won me over and I gurantee they’ll do the same for you.

Yall this food so damn good Im eating it as I type this. I almost went in the kitchen to solee if my Aunt was in there making the corn pudding. The atmosphere was impeccable and welcoming, the drinks were delicious and not for the weak. Great vibes. Ill definitely be back

So I ordered a chicken dinner plate with Mac and cheese and greens. Shortly after I ordered on DoorDash, they told me my order was ready. As soon as I got to the restaurant, I quickly found out that my order was not ready. It took them an extra 25 minutes to get me my food. When I opened my plate, I didn’t even have everything I asked for. They gave me cabbage instead of greens. I tried to call to let them know they made a mistake but the phone goes straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full. This will be my last time ordering here. My experience was not worth the $22.24 that was spent on one meal. I visited this place in a Sunday around 3:30pm.
