Stay away from this restaurant because they would not follow what you wrote for the tips.
The food is fine. I love the quality and the freshness of the ingredients. They even provided ice cream and red bean as sweets. But when I reviewed my credit card transactions, I realized I was charged $90.88 instead of $87.02 as I wrote on the receipt. Though the difference is small, this indicates the staff would NOT care what you intend to give as tips but choose whatever s/he likes. I planned to come back before realizing this issue since I wanted to try the coconut chicken pot, but now I changed my mind and I won’t recommend any of my friends to come any more. This restaurant would literally take your money from your pocket without any permissions.

The photo of receipt was attached. Notice $90.88 was 18%, while I didn’t check the mark and I wrote the tips by hand afterwards which I didn’t take the photo. But I used my calculator to get the number, so it was in the history of my phone calculator.

The coconut chicken soup is very special, even for foodies like us. The service is great, as the staff will teach you how to cook, eat, and in what order of sequence, to get the most variety of taste. The beef was, however, not really up to the wagyu level. But overall it is very decently priced, and a really fun and unique dining experience.

Food is not bad and decent prices…I got a Hainan chicken rice and other things but the Hainan chicken wasn’t as good as I remember….I bought it two days ago and I’m just finishing the rice today…AND I FOUND THIS METAL PEICE IN THE RICE, I ALMOST SWALLOWED IT!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! I think it’s the metal brush they use in Chinese restaurant for dishes. I know it’s from the rice and rice only even tho I’m eating the rice with things not from the restaurant. I only had rice in that bite . Why you disappointed me like that. The rice itself is really good ‍↕️

We try to make ourselves try food at different soup places just to have that experience. This place we really had no clue how they serve so we just sat down and I asked the lady who greeted us what is a popular dish, mainly I just wanted wonton soup but due to language barrier when I kept asking for it she would say yes we have wonton in chili sauce but after a good five minutes I realized it’s wontons in chili sauce. We ended up ordering the Beef Brisket soup for two and a few sides with the soup, I didn’t like the broth but you already know the brisket was good I just had to add soy sauce, chili sauce and ginger which made the broth taste delicious. They charge for each item and when they serve each dish they’ll point at it on your receipts taped to your table. We also had leftovers so overall I can’t complain.

Funny thing when we charged our credit card and had it signed as we were getting up to leave the server tapped my arm and said in a firm tone “YOU’RE NOT LEAVING A TIP?” I looked at her like “Excuse me?” She then lifted up the signed receipt in the little tray which on the tip said $0 but then noticed just behind the receipt was cash where her attitude shifted and had a big smile, giggling “Cash even better, thank you have a great day!”

I don’t think that was cool because it’s up to us if we want to tip or not because a lot of times service can be terrible, rude servers, long waits, being neglected etc. anyways that’s the last time going there, not because of service because they were good it’s just they don’t have my wonton soup with the broth I like not to mention they don’t have egg noodles

BEST coconut chicken hotpot I’ve ever had in the bay!!!!!
The soup was made with fresh coconut – they cracked the coconut and added the coconut water into our soup. We could also eat the coconut meat inside – it was so fresh.
And then they added chicken – the soup was just HEAVENLY. As a person who is from the region where coconut chicken was originated, I 100% approve its authenticity!!
And the price was soooo good too – $35 per person!

I like the chicken soup! One of the best comforting food for the wet winter in the Bay Area! Two fresh coconuts adding a very subtle sweetness in the clear soup base, delivers an amazing mix of aromatic flavor. The side dish rice is a little bit dry and the plaza itself is not fancy, but the soup itself is definitely worth a 30 miles’ drive for someone enjoying light and healthy dietary.

Used to be a dumpling place. Now it’s a hotpot restaurant, specializing in whole chicken cooked in coconut juice. It’s unusual, so it’s interesting. The first time. Be prepared to spend a lot of time scraping the young coconut meat for cooking in the spot.

They seem to hire a new chef recently, there’s new menu. Now it’s making authentic Cantonese food. Coconut chicken hot pot and lamb stew are tasty.

In search of Dumplings on a Friday night and I found ‘Red Circle’. So glad I did too. Greeted by a friendly waitress that catered to our every need throughout dinner. Never had to ask for a refill of water or dipping sauces. She was always checking on us with a warm smile and humble professionalism.
The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was just right. Not too salty with an adequate amount of beef to noodle ratio.
The Shrimp Siomai were tasty and perfectly steamed. The Chicken and Bok Choy Dumplings were a perfect combination of flavors and texture as well as nicely presented. $25 out the door. Will definitely return.

My new Favorite Chinese restaurant.

It’s Chinese New (year of the lunar Rat ). Dressed up & trying to figure out where to go. Thinking that Asian restaurants are closed due to the holidays, but I found one open.

Red Circle Dumplings has the best tasting food that I’ve tasted. I’m Asian and very picky when it comes to Chinese food.

My moto is that you got to try it to deny it. I’m not denying Red Circle , cuz the favor is bursting of yummy goodness in my mouth .

This restaurant has made it in my top 10 pics. I place them at #3.
