We were in Kalamazoo for a weekend trip and wanted somewhere to stop for shopping and comfort food. After reading the reviews for Pacific Rim Foods and Cravings Deli, we decided to stop in and we’re glad we did!

Cravings Deli is inside Pacific Rim Foods, so make sure you check on those specific hours not to miss out!

The food was delicious! The menu can seem a bit overwhelming, but any place with great banh mi is an instant favorite.
Besides the regular menu, there was a small takeout section and seasonal/specials menu. I ended up ordering a special bubble tea, the banh mi and bao buns.
Simply place your order at the counter with the cashier and wait for your order to be called.

The food was made fresh and came out quickly and hot. The kitchen is open concept, so you can see them making the food, which is fun to watch.

The banh mi was fantastic. The bread was soft, but held up to the amount of food and dressing stuffed into it. The meat was tender and easy to eat. I do think the cucumbers could have been julienne style for easy eating, like the carrots.

The bao buns were soft and the consistency was perfect. The meat and seasonings were flavorful and so tender. The sautéed vegetables were great and adding to the flavor and filling.

The portion sizes were bigger than expected, so there is the option to share or have leftovers.

The bubble tea was great too, a little on the sweet side with the syrup I choose. The cups actually have a stopper for the straw opening, so you can take it to go in the car without worry of spilling.

Heard about this place for the first time today so we came to try it out. Son wanted to try Pho (no tripe). He gives it 4.7 stars. I used the chop sticks for the first time with some success so I was happy. I tried his and we also got fresh, hot and crispy crab rangoons. Did a little shopping in the market before we ate too. I recommend the Raspberry Black Boba tea also.

Friendly staff, nice range of options on the menu. Reasonably priced. I had the Cantonese Noodles with BBQ Pork. My food was hot and fresh, and I had plenty left over. The BBQ pork in my dish was a little chewy, but conquerable in small bites. Would definitely return, eager to try more menu items.

I really don’t know what happened, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I was really excited to try this place.

I ordered the BBQ Ramen with a taro tea and brown sugar boba.

I typically have taro with brown sugar and it’s one of my favorite flavors, however, their taro doesn’t taste anything like the taro I’ve had before, and the brown sugar didn’t go well with it.

The ramen was okay. I don’t think their monster boba size is a reasonable size for anyone, and single persons ordering should be warned, it’s a really large serving size.

For me in this case, the boba was the make or break and it kinda broke here.

As for the seating, I don’t recommend sitting in the bar seating, it’s not a good location to sit

Some of the food item doesn’t have the choice of meat for DINE IN like for PHO or RAMEN – only beef, shrimp. But online for PICK UP – they have choices like chicken or vegetarian. I asked the cashier for added chicken but was told they can’t do that. (Maybe because they can’t add from the cash register set up, not sure). I wish they can do chicken in most order instead of just beef, because of me avoiding red meat. Otherwise, I will give 5 STARS! They got Boba, Chinese Egg Rolls, curry, Phad Thai, Ahi Tuna Salad (yum ! ) and many others good food.

Nice little spot inside an Asian grocery store.

Order at the counter, pick up at the counter and bus your own trays which is fine by me, I don’t go to Vietnamese spots for the service I go for the food made with love.

Had the beef pho and it was a large portion for 14.00 had plenty of tender steak, little tripe and tasty meatballs.

Ask for chili oil pepper as they keep it behind the counter.

I left very full for 14.00.

I saw some of the entrees come out while eating and they were very large portions too.

Not much competition in town so they got a good thing going for sure !

This latest visit was one of the many excellent visits. The food is always amazing and the service is great as well. The crews are always on point. This time we got Szechuan Beef Brisket Ramen with wide noodles and eggs, Spicy Miso Ramen with wide noodles, shrimp and bbq pork, and Crab Rangoon. The place is always packed, that means the food is delicious!! Hands down!! It’s worth the drive one hour and few minutes from Holland . One of our favourite places for ramen

The Black Forrest Cake is the best I’ve ever had. Very good Ramen, the summer rolls taste very fresh. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is very cute and welcoming. I love how it feels like I’ve gone on a quick getaway.

Started with jasmine tea, which was served warm…like tea hot…apparently that ruins tea. Ordered bowl of pork broth, with noodles, egg, bok choy, bean sprouts, spinach, seaweed. The broth and noodles were great. First time for seaweed not a fan. Tried Potstickers, wrap was thick, 1/2 were almost black, and rest were not even browned, filling seemed bland, dipping sauce minimal and cold from refrigerator seemed odd for a hot dish.
