This DQ has not changed in the last 30+years. Same brick walls. Same sweet treats. I remember riding my bike with my BFF here for ice cream when we were kids. My husband and I stopped here this evening after dinner and it was pleasantly the same! So the I was. Standing in the SV Dairy Queen tearing up remembering all the great times from childhood. I got a PBP… of course!

Went today 4/27/23 after seeing the commercials to download the DQ App. And get an 85 cent blizzard to say WELCOME. They do NOT take the App deals. And a Kid cone costs $2. 43 Go to JULIE and Sammies ice cream ! Way better prices and they have the ol’ Thrifty ice cream !!!

My husband, our two children, and myself stopped here spur of the moment to kill some time, on a Monday, and we seem to have hit them at a slow moment. The service we were given was polite, warm, and helpful, the two people I could see, a lovely little woman, and a nice strong Tall guy were as friendly as could be, and got our order out pretty fast. I am reminded of fond times growing up with my grandmother when she would take me to Dairy Queen for the occasional treat, and though the Dilly bars are not quite the same as when I was young, I enjoyed making wonderful new memories here with my own family now. I would recomend coming here to this Dairy Queen during their slow times to enjoy the air of taking a step back in time to your youth.

Today is August 3rd, 2022 at 1:59 pm.after our last trip here were not going to come back but I decided to treat my children after their first day back in school. They have a “Fan First Promise” next to the counter. The 3rd promise was to flip you Blizzard upside down and if they do not they give you a coupon for a free small Blizzard on on your next visit.
