I was on a different course when I stumbled upon this gem. It’s quaint and so welcoming. Lots of space and seating. A nice bar area with a foot step. The bar stools have seats with backs. They smoke/make their own meats to use in their sandwiches..they use local products for everything!…if you like meaty sandwiches, try this place!!! They’ve got some interesting combos along with your favs —— I’ll be back!

I showed up at the lunch rush, and it took awhile to get my order. That said, it was well worth the wait. The atmosphere was nice, and it was quiet. It would be an excellent place to stop for breakfast for that reason alone.
I got The Chubby. Wasn’t sure $18 was going to be fair, but as it turned out, I was very wrong. It’s worth every penny of that, especially considering the recent rampant inflation.
The Reading Sodas are tasty, many different flavors. Worth it to stop in for this reason alone.
Definitely coming back whenever I’m in town.

The atmosphere is awesome, funny how it used to be Klingers which is funny to see how much it has changed. The food was delicious, I really liked the spicy peach sauce on the Glazed and Dazed sandwich (photo of sandwich and their signature hash). Their signature hash is full of flavor, spicy, and the burnt ends are perfectly cooked. I will admit that the total was a little salty for breakfast for me, my two children and wife. Other than that it was totally worth it!

Great food and prices. Love the more old fashioned home cooked meal style. Owners were very kind and made sure my food was to my liking.

Had to edit since I can finally include photos. Since we first tried Craft Eats, we’ve been back multiple times and have tried different things. Do yourself a favor and don’t get it delivered, go experience their delicious food right out of the kitchen to your table and stop paying Door Dash and others more for the food.
Hands down, Craft Eats is the best place in Hanover and the surrounding area to get a great sandwiches and other dishes that are not only made with hand carved real meats and local ingredients , but also made with love.
We’ve picked up and eaten at the restaurant, and I must say that you need to eat there to get not only the best culinary experience, but also the best experience of the personality and love that goes into each dish.
You have to try it, and you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely, small, tucked away gem in Hanover! Sweet family-run local business with phenomenal food—the meat is freshly prepared, and the potato skins were truly some of the best I’ve ever had! Will return many times, and will bring more family! Thank you to the Craft Eats staff for a great evening!

A Hidden Gem in Hanover!
I can’t say enough good things about Craft Eats in Hanover, PA. From the moment I walked in, I felt the laid-back vibes—not just from the cozy atmosphere but from the owners themselves. They are truly the sweetest people, and you can feel the love and care they put into every bite.
The food? Phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful, and locally sourced! You can taste the difference! I went for breakfast and came back for dinner!
The prices are just right! Portion size you can’t beat it!
So glad I stumbled upon this spot—it’s officially my new go-to. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and check them out. You won’t regret it! I believe they took over the building where the Ale House used to be!

Visited this place door dashing the other night. Met the owner. And she gave me the menu came back tonight to try it for myself. I will say it was amazing. I ended up getting the hangover helper. The corn beef hash with the thick cut shoulder bacon was great you could tell by the flavors it was fresh quality meat. Very tender. The potatoes were cooked to perfection. And seasoned well. The pickled penos was a interesting take but payed off and paired very well with everything. Eggs cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff. The owners were there and working. Which is always great to see. Definitely another small bussiness I will definitely support. Food was excellent and im looking forward to the next thing I get to try.
