Was absolutely delighted to hangout here while my daughter has softball practice! They have the best burgers & the fries come in little fry baskets! Super cute! Tons of big TV’s with multiple sports games on, a huge projector, a bar, & tons of drink options! Our waitress was so nice also!

We tried Big O’s for the first time on a saturday around 430 . At first we were concerned our service was going to be a crap show, but it turns out she was on a quick break and once she started waiting our table Elizabeth was fantastic. Now for the food. I odered wings for an appetizer. Sadly they were chewy and over cooked. Prob will never try them again. But then our bugers came out and holy heck they were amazing. Our table had the big o’s blue and the highland square bugers, one with fries and one with salad. The meat was a little pink inside so perfectly cooked in our eyes and the flavors just blended so well together. Highly recommend . 10/10 on those bugers. Give them a try, i think youll really enjoy !

Hit this spot up with family. They were able to accommodate our group of 10 on the patio. Couple of TVs outside and several inside. Nice little common ground with bags sets to play games while you wait. Good beer selection. Food was OK. Would try this location again when in town.

Great food and the owners are so nice and engaged. They came out and chatted with us while we watched curling which was supper fun and funny. They have a huge projector screen and that night the Olympics were on—made me wish I’d thought to watch the superbowl there. Awesome place. Will definitely be regulars.

So far loved e everything i have got on the menu. The new owners are very nice people and went way out of their way to create a special moment for our family when my fiance found a wedding dress. With only 20 min notice, they were able to set up a table for the occasion. I simply asked them for a little note saying congratulations on saying yes to the dress as a surprise for my fiancé and they pulled off much more than that including balloons and flowers. It made a good day i to a great day. We had 4 guests that were first time visitors and they loved the food. Great job and thank you.

New owner Oscar completely ruined this place. I don’t mind the changes inside the restaurant with the extra TVs and bigger bar, but they completely ruined everything that made the menu unique and special. Went from serving high-quality German/British-inspired foods like Fish & Chips, Shepard’s Pie and Schnitzel to the same boring burgers and pizza that you can get anywhere in Highland.

New owners are here & it’s called Big O’s now, but it’s still good quality.
You’ll still find Schlafley beers here, as well as domestics and cocktails at a good price too. Food is delicious and of good quality. I recommend trying this out and giving new owners a shot.

So disappointed to see that this has changed from somewhere we can get German inspired food to an establishment with sub mediocre bar food. Any tasteful interior decor has been shed and now it just feels like a tacky sports bar. It was an awful experience and we will never be returning. I read an article after we left that the new manager(owner?) changed things to appeal to what highland residents wants but clearly he is clueless on what we want. Many of us have a strong German /Swiss heritage and I think we were happy to have Schlafly the way it was and his assumptions and remarks are an insult.

Food was delicious. The Reuben was cooked to perfection! So many fries came in the order. They had a boil order so I couldn’t order the Reuben pizza but I heard it is so good.
