I don’t understand the 3 star review before I looked this up. I think it has to do with expectations. This place is still just doing its soft opening so there will be bumps in the road. But Husband and I tried this tonight and absolutely loved it. It is more of a sports bar atmosphere than a casual restaurant. There are more TVs here than anywhere else nearby. However, it is designed after the east coast crab/lobster houses. We did boiled seafood, it was dumped out on our table, and we loved every bite. The crab was perfectly cooked. We also had Gulf oysters to start and drinks/beer as well. The server, manager, everyone… Was great. We will definitely be coming back for more great food and for at least a few game watching opportunities. Not to mention the patio looks fun as well. So glad to have a FUN place nearby. This may be our new favorite place.

We have been here twice, and this is now our favorite family restaurant. The play area is the best in town, the food is solid, and the staff is great. We particularly like the cocktail sauce – it has a great horseradish and peppery taste. Tonight we ordered “the catch” and the seafood was fantastic. We will be back soon.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING !!!!!! We visited Craft and Crab on their very first night of business and had a good time. We went back a couple of weeks later and had even a better experience. We just went back tonight and OMG – this place is AWESOME……The staff is so friendly, you feel like you have known them forever. The food has gotten better each and every time that we have visited. Atmosphere is something that you will have to see and experience for yourself – it is SUPERB ! We have tried something new and different each and every time – great idea….the new Chef has made an impact on the taste and presentation. We were more than satisfied on our first visit, but tonight was unreal – EVERYTHING was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Kudos to the entire staff – we will be back to see you all very soon! Thanks for sharing your restaurant with our community.

First time here and ordered “the catch” $75 for my wife and I. The mussels were ok, kinda dry, the shrimp, this was the problem. They were mushy and you could barley peel the shell off, so took time to peel just one. That usually happens when it’s overcooked. The crab was good.

We waited for 15+ minutes to get our appetizer, fried pickles. When it did come they were not very good, over done and salty. Then after what seemed like an eternity probably 30 minutes. We received the meal, and everything in it was over done, tough, and again salty. The table near us had enough trouble that they spoke to two different managers. To pay our check my girlfriend had to literally find someone from the staff to take the card and cash out. For $100 I could have had pappadeux and actually got good seafood. I not only will not go here again, but would not suggest it to anyone. We left still hungry and annoyed.

Checked the place out last night. After waiting over 30 minutes for Fried shrimp and catfish the waiter returned to say the hold up was that they were out of Hush puppies and asked if I still wanted my whole order? He did not ask if I wanted another drink or anything and walked away as my beer was empty. Another 15 minutes passed and he returned to tell me that my order ‘should be next’. It appeared he was training someone who came by and just slid tartar sauce and cocktail sauce on the table and walked off. I had to ask the server for another drink.

The food here was good. I think there are the typical growing pains now. I arrived at 7:30 and there was a ln hour wait. We decided to have a drink and let the kids play on the awesome playground outside. I was sent a text when we checked in stating that we would be notified when our table was ready and that there was an app to see our place in line. I downloaded the app and monitored it while we waited. I went to the bar for a drink and waited 20 min. There was one bartender making drinks for the house and two more serving everyone else. The bar was packed so there was only room at the end to walk up. One bartender spent most of the time looking at the computer. I think I saw her make maybe one drink. The other made a couple of drinks, but never made eye contact or acknowledged my presence. After an hour and a half of waiting I pulled up the app and it no longer had a wait time. I never received a text either. So I went to the host stand and asked. I was told that all waiting parties had been notified and if I wanted a table. I said that after waiting and hour and a half that I was ready for a table. I was taken to a table and then went to get my family from the patio. Upon returning, there were people seated at our table. I went back to the host stand to inquire. When I told her what happened, she asked if I would like another table. Since I didn’t want to share a table with strangers, I said yes. After getting to the table things were much better. The food was a little over priced but very good. The chicken fried steak bites were $15 and that was all you get. No sides, no sauces, just steak bites. I do recommend the shrimp thingies.

Staff was great, nice and friendly. Food was utterly disgusting.. Tasted like processed frozen crab legs from Kroger… Potatoes were frozen on the inside. They claim that the potato’s and sausages were boiled but the sausage had grilled marks on. Butter wasn’t even butter. Read the reviews before we went, they were mostly all negative but still decided to give it a try anyways…. No… Reviews were totally accurate.
