It was a bit confusing walking in. i thought i went into the wrong place. There were children’s running around playing with the little shop 1 even pushed me didnt appolizged. I can say everyone who works here is very welcoming. My waiters were very sweet, very helpful. I ordered a few items on the menu. I enjoyed the freshly made biscuits. For the steak & egg casserole, I didn’t like the steak it was overly cooked. French toast I only ate the fruits because the toast in general tasted as if I was eating straight flour dough was mushy and to be honest wasn’t pleasent taste.. My son enjoyed his chicken w/Mac and cheese and also the potoes cheese bacon and fries. When it was time to pay, I was confused and was told to pay at the gift shop.

Sky greated us with a beautiful smile outside as we walked towards the entrance. The presentation of the food was so eye-catching that I forgot to take pics. It was delicious and of course I had to go shopping at the country store. I picked up this cute little 2 in 1 floral bag, shoulder strap included.

Service was very slow to sit us down. There wasn’t anyone there and we waited over 5 minutes for some one to seat us. Just kept walking by and looking at us. Food was and drinks were very slow to come out. And like I said there ware only about 5-10 people there dining.

My husband and I enjoy Cracker Barrel food, however on multiple occasions at the Rosenberg store we have a bad experience, generally with the actual service and not the food. Today (a non holiday Monday morning at 1030 AM) we were greeted by the hostess and were seated without any wait. Then we saw three different people walk by our table multiple times in a period of no less than 12 minutes, none of which made eye contact or any type of communication. We left and let a lady at the hostess station know that we were never approached for any kind of service.

This location is recovering from COVID and slowly making progress. The employees in the shopping area are helpful and friendly. The service was slow but they are having difficulty finding people that want to work. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as previously. The gravy and grits were were so cold they had a film over them, the eggs were over cooked and the bacon was limp, basically raw. This was not a good dining experience but the shopping made it better.

Nice sit down restaurant with an attached country store that has an extensive collection of items. The food was excellent quality. I had the turkey dinner. No cartilage or tough turkey pieces and the fried apples had a perfect amount of sugar. I also got the cinnamon bun iced latte. Looked pretty, although over priced for what it is (coffee with whipping cream and cinnamon syrup with glaze drizzle on top).

The food has no soul- it feels as if the cooks hate their jobs. The servers are excellent, that’s why I still go once in a while. The store is always fun to peruse, but too overpriced for the quality, so I rarely buy anything besides the food.

Place was dirty. Floors, bathroom were terrible. First time I have ever seen it like this. Told two girls at register, one smiled and seen to agree to tell the manager, the other one never said a word or smiled. The food was good, and the server was nice and busy. All workers were very young. Did not see but one person who looked to be 30, and he came out of the kitchen and just looked around? This is usually a nice place to be, good location, but this visit was a surprise and shock.

Each visit is always a good experience for me and my family as we enjoy the meals and the service. We’ve only had fast, friendly, thorough servers, so far. And some days, you meet wonderful servers that give amazing service. The restaurant offers both dinner & breakfast meals all day. And lunch prices are amazingly affordable. The food, coffee, and sweet tea are always enjoyable. The dining area, with its country decor, is clean and comfortable. And they now have free wifi that customers can use while they dine. And dine-in mobile pay via the Cracker Barrel app is also available. The restaurant is in the Brazos Town Center just off of FM 762. Good food; fast & friendly service. This one’s a keeper!
