First time customer and I will definitely be going back! Upon walking up to the entrance I immediately felt relaxed. The large rocking chairs that greeted me outside on a beautiful summer day instantly created a laid back and calming atmosphere. As I made my way through the store (where I didn’t spend much time but it seemed you could find a nice gift for almost anyone) I was greeted by a very friendly hostess. I was seated immediately, and knowing it was my first time there, she even came to my table about halfway through my meal to ask how everything was. Grace, my server, was excellent! She checked on me multiple times as I was dining, ensuring that I had everything that I needed and making sure that I was happy. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions and engaged me in just the right amount of friendly small talk. And, the service was fast which indicates everything in the back of the house was running smoothly too. The food and beverages are so good! The ladies who were working the checkout were also very friendly, and even went to get me some fresh fudge from the back, which they didn’t have to do, but I was very grateful for. The employees and food will most certainly be the reason I go back!

Food and service are always great! I had the chicken n dumplings with green beans, baked apples. Biscuits or corn bread come with the entree, but I always get biscuits. Highly recommend!

I was greeted promptly entering the establishment. Seated quickly. Server came right over and took my order. Brought drinks out quickly. The food came out in a timely manner. Was hot. And tasted very good. I had granny’s sampler. With blueberry pancakes. Great experience. Let with belly full and satisfied. Didn’t break the bank either. Thank you.

Used to love Cracker Barrel. I convinced my parents to go after they had two consecutive bad experiences here. Food took 40 minutes to come out with the restaurant less than half full on a weekday. Food was okay, ended up with part of an onion on my plate which wasn’t part of the dish. Will not be back, maybe to any Cracker Barrel after this.

This is my 3 Rd time coming here and I order the same thing. Fried chicken dinner with 2 sides and corn bread biscuit . This time the chicken literally looked old , barely had flavor and tasted like old grease. The cornbread biscuit was hard and extremely dry. The greens and loaded mashed potatoes were good. I’m really disappointed this time because I brought my daughter here today and she got sick to her stomach after she ate. This chicken doesn’t even look good compared to every other time

Service was decently fast for how busy it was. Some items were cold, but the server was attentive and got the issues we brought up fixed quickly. Country fried stake recipe must’ve changed recently. If you used to like it, there’s a good chance you won’t now.

I love Cracker Barrel UNTIL I came to this one. This is the WORST one I’ve ever been to. I was traveling with my family to the East coast and stopped at this location for the night to eat on Thursday, June 8, 2023. We all ordered the Grandpa’s country fried breakfast, about 3 orders. We also ordered a side of pancakes and bacon. About 30 minutes later, the server comes out and says that our food is ready but they forgot to say that they are out of country gravy. She said that it would take about 15 minutes to make it. We told her we would wait since the biscuits and the steak wouldn’t taste right without the gravy. She agreed and said that she would send the manager to speak to us. The manager comes in and says something totally different. HE says that it would take 30 minutes to make the gravy BUT that they won’t make it because they would have to make a big batch and then throw it out since it’s almost closing time. So basically he is saying that they won’t make the gravy because we are not worth it. He offered brown gravy instead. So I asked him, have you ever eaten biscuits and country fried steak with brown gravy? The manager replied that he has not. So I asked him, why would you recommend it then? At this point, my family was hungry so we went with it. He apologized and said he will look at the check and comp some items. I would have rather had the gravy instead of comping the bill, but whatever. Not only was it disgusting, but the pancakes did not taste like Cracker Barrel pancakes. They were burnt. The bacon was also burnt and in little pieces. We were ready to leave and was given the check. My wife was so upset that the manager didn’t follow through with comping some items as this experience was horrible. So we requested we speak to him and he totally forgot. This manager is terrible for Cracker Barrel. If you look at the reviews, it looks like we weren’t the only guests that feel this way. So when you’re in Youngstown and you’re getting a bit hungry, DO NOT go to this Cracker Barrel.

Very good Blueberry Pancakes! You have to arrive at the right time before the heavy crowds flock in especially the Sunday crowd. All in all everything is very good and reasonably priced. They need more creamer selections though for the coffee lovers. The store though is way overpriced in my opinion but they do have a nice selection of Soda. No Moxie Soda though?
