So what happened to Cracker Barrel restaurants? My husband and I stopped there for supper last night and this is not the only Cracker Barrel that we’ve had trouble with. We are done with Cracker Barrel restaurant for anything other than breakfast only and if that gets any worse we’ll be done period. If it hadn’t been for the Coca-Cola and the appetizers we would have walked away from there hungry. The meals we got were terrible. They were cold and the broccoli I got wouldn’t even melt the butter I put on it plus I don’t serve broccoliat home that has started turning black. The pinto beans had a film over them like they’d been sitting for quite a while and they weren’t warm either and not just pinto beans in there they were mixed. I don’t know if our server was new but after she brought our food that was the end of her until she finally came back and gave us our ticket to see if we needed anything else. Like I said this isn’t the first Cracker Barrel that this has happened at. It has really gone downhill. I don’t know what’s going on but the service, the pride and the food has all gone downhill. It’s just not good. It seems like nobody cares anymore. When I spend $50 I don’t expect to go home hungry and I expect the food to be decent and at the very least warm.

The service provided by our waitress Nichole was phenomenal. Menu options have changed since the last time I visited, but definitely for the better. I had chicken and French toast. The chicken was delicious! My husband said he would definitely get that on our next visit

I was in Kentucky for my Uncle’s celebration of life and me and my cousins stayed at the red roof inn which is right behind the restaurant. We had breakfast there 2 days in a row. The bacon, country fried steak and grits were very good but I wasn’t fond of the gravy. It is too smokey for my taste and whoever cooked the eggs both days needs to be retrained. They were basically only egg yolks left. Iced tea was delicious!!

On our way back home we stopped here for dinner. I had breakfast for dinner and it was delicious as usual. The service was Impeccable too. We can always count on Cracker Barrel for a great meal and service.

They were packed. We wait for 30+ minutes. Our service couldn’t hear us because it was so loud. He got part of the order wrong even though he read it back to us. When our food was served we had no silverware and had to wait about 10 minutes to get silverware. A woman who just wandered around brought us some silverware. Then our waiter brought us more about 5 minutes later. I asked for our biscuits and cornbread. That took another 10 minutes. The waiter really acted like he didn’t want to be there. He spent more time in the kitchen than serving anyone. He also needs to learn the menu also.

Fantastic experience. My waitress was perfect and polite, the building was clean even with heavy volume. A tad loud but it always it’s with that many people. Food came fast and was delicious and more than enough to eat. I paid with the app and that worked well but I left a cash tip. I think most prefer cash. I also shopped for a specific coffee cup and they went out of their way to help me find the last one in the store. Well worth the cup price of $7.99.

Every menu item for breakfast gives choice of Pan Cake or French Toast. I ordered the new chicken and French Toast meal, but don’t like their French Toast so I asked to switch to pan cake. She went to kitchen and asked and returned to tell me no. Don’t understand why you have a choice on all the other menu items, but not that one. That is the only one that had the chicken on it. The French Toast was horrible and the chicken looked like they packed the breading instead of just breading it. Someone else had the chicken also and they returned it for the same reason. My wife’s meatloaf was not as good as usual. She asked for sweet potato and they brought her carrots. My daughter pancake looks like it was deep fried it was so greasy. They did remake that for her.

Started off with the host not listening. Cold food! The syrup was hotter than the pancakes my son ordered. I had one bite of each item on my plate and was done. The gravy was a film from sitting there so long. This has been our Thursday night spot for weeks now. Very disappointing! Last week wasn’t great and this week was trash.

Food was perfect. Waitress was so nice only thing was the inside was so cold me and entire family were shivering. It felt like a meat freezer in the entire building. Brrrrr. Workers were nice and even helped find a few items I wanted to buy as gifts.
