Had a great breakfast, and the service by Marlene was the best we’ve ever experienced at Cracker Barrel and maybe anywhere.

What has happened with this place? This used to be our spot every Sunday morning. I’m not sure what’s going on but the last 4 times (I keep wanting to give them more than one chance) we’ve been we have waited well over a hour for food. It’s not the waitress it’s the people cooking. The food is never right and it’s always very cold. As we sit there and waited you can just see everyone upset and complaining that they’ve waited over an hour also. Looking around all you see if people complaining of the food and honestly I don’t blame them. It’s almost worth driving a few extra miles to the next Cracker Barrel. This is how I received my food last night. What happened to four full pieces of French toast bread? The time before this they were extremely burnt. The place was also somewhat dirty, I’ve seen it better.

I tried their new Taco breakfast. It was awful. The eggs are fried hard so their basically cremated. They won’t cook the eggs the way you want them. The manager ask me how the food was & I told her the eggs were terrible & they wouldn’t cook them the way I wanted. She just told me they have to be cooked that way. I expressed to her they should cook them how you want them. She agreed then a friend walked up to her & they began conversing she rudely turned her back on me & went away with her friend. I have been to very few Cracker Barrels where they don’t cremate your eggs; especially scrambled eggs. Don’t waste your money on the new Taco breakfast with eggs & bacon inside the pancakes. It’s not worth the disappointment. However I will say on Fridays I have never been disappointed by their fish dinner.

Our service was horrible. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. We waited over 30 minutes for our food – people who sat down after we ordered, got their food before us.

We enjoyed breakfast while our vehicles were being serviced next door at Champion Chevrolet. Our waitress had the most fantastic smile and happy attitude. She was a real joy while we ate our delicious food.

The last few times we have been to this Cracker Barrel the ticket times have seemed excessive. We decided to try again today understanding that everyone is experiencing employee shortages, today was the last time we will go back for any foreseeable future. We ordered directly from the menu with no special requests, it took 42 minutes to receive our food, unfortunately where we were seated I could see directly into the kitchen and I watched what was at least 3 of our 4 ordered meals sit for at least 10 minutes before our server brought them out. The waitress was nice enough and apologized and sent a manager over, she was also nice but that doesn’t change the fact that we had to re-schedule a portion of our day. If you don’t have extra time in your schedule or you’re hungry you might consider another option.

Big shout out to manager Renee. What incredible customer service! I order to go about once a week for my elderly parents. A few things were wrong on the order, and it had happened several times before so I thought I’d finally reach out. But she was so gracious and helpful. I really appreciated her solution and attentiveness

We had been traveling for several hours. We realized it was Fathers Day but decided we could wait a little while because of your reputation. The Wait outside was short and speedy. Thank you for that.

I had a young lady who was so personable as a server. She had a genuine smile & a kind personality. My food was very good & this Cracker Barrel is in LaGrange. I almost always have good luck in this particular Cracker Barrel. They need to work on their biscuits though.

You can’t really go wrong with a homemade yummy foods that are Cracker Barrel. I they serve breakfast all day as well as have a country veggie plate, so I always get torn up trying to decide because they have a lot of options for us that have an animal free or mostly animal free diet. There hasn’t been anything. I’ve tried that I didn’t like there, but their hash brown casserole is so good. Favs! I’ve had some amazing French toast breakfast platters they’re sweet potato’s are more like a desert. Oh, and it’s been a while so I can’t say for sure if they still carry this item they used to have a apple cobbler type dessert that came served in a steaming cast-iron skillet was very cold vanilla ice cream so so amazing. They’re sweet tea is really good too, which I’m kind of a snoot about sweet tea when I rarely drink it, due to my grandmothers, sun tea as a kid was the masteress of all things tea for me thus far. Oh, and don’t forget to stop by the old country store on your way out they have tons of fun gift shop type swag, a huge variety of candies and treats. I think they even have like clothes or blankets &quilts. I’d not ever had one bad experience until my last couple. It wasn’t really so much about the service or how the food is lacking and was stingy. I tried to do an online order which you cannot use a gift card on there so I called to make an order and got hung up on several times before someone actually answered. That young lady was very nice and got my order in and everything was pretty good. I literally repeated this a few days later the same order and that person was pretty rude on the phone passed me around. I had to go back in and ask for things a couple times like it wasn’t ready to go. It wasn’t even ready. Actually I was quoted 10 minutes I waited 15 or 20. So it’s hit or miss but I still think Cracker Barrel is pretty amazing.
