Server forgot about us. The error was blamed on a system error but 45 mins is awhile to not check on your customers. The order was hurriedly placed a second time and the food came out shortly after… which resulted in undercooked mushy shrimp. The waitress gave us free dessert as an apology which was appreciated. The manager removed $7 from the bill for the soggy shrimp (the shrimp meal cost about $15). The bathrooms needed a cleaning as well. Biscuits were a bit too browned but were decent tasting. I almost forgot to mention there was a pincher bug on the table. I think it crawled out of the paper bag that held the napkin and utensils.

My family and I had dinner here around 630 pm on 2-03-23. After walking out after we paid and got small items from the store. The motel 6 across the street was engulfed in flames and fire trucks were showing up, we could not leave due to the 1 access road to it. We had to sit and wait for the trucks and hoses to be moved then salt to allow traffic to cross the icey path from all the water. While waiting our 2 year old needed to use the restroom around 750 pm. My wife was stopped at the door and said she could not enter given the time. After explaining that she needed to go the 6 person wall the staff had made to stop people from entering, they were allowed in to go. About 30 mins later my 7 year old needed to go too.. I was then stopped and told nobody can enter, (mean while at least 15 customers were still inside along with all the staff were in due to nobody being able to leave) I proceeded to say my 7 year old needed to go to the restroom, another worker then stepped in front of my 7 year old and I and said you can’t come in here and questioned the first worker on why we were walking in, I said we can’t go anywhere and my child needs to go to the restroom, we also spent $75 and haven’t been able to go anywhere. I questioned them on why they couldn’t be understanding that nobody can leave and why they can’t be hospitable for an extra hour while we all are trapped on their property and I heard one of the workers say good question. The manager should be ashamed of themselves for being so by the book and following protocol. They need to be compassionate and understanding as well. Will not be returning here due to the lack of access to the store and for the lack of management

Good old fashioned southern style comfort food. You can probably hear your arteries harden with some of the dishes, but fried food and biscuits or cornbread smothered in butter are so good! Yes, it is possible to get healthy dishes, but I don’t think that’s what this place is about. Like most of the others you find across the country, the service is good, and the place is clean.

When we arrived, they told us it would be a 30-minute wait. It was over an hour before we got seated. Once seated, we noticed that half the tables were empty. They were obviously short staffed. The food was fine, the waitress was nice. She did a good job. But they should have been honest with us about the wait time.

Outstanding “homestyle” cooking, generous portions, and ample seating separation. Boneless fried chicken breasts are absolutely best. Breakfast all day is a big hit with the kids, as are the homemade biscuits.

Given it was a Tuesday evening it was nice and quiet. Hardly busy at all, but service was incredibly slow. The waiter was good but I don’t understand why it took so long to get the food out as their were probably less than a dozen tables occupied at the time, ours included.

We’ve ordered the chicken & dumplings three times in the past two months via online pickup, and each time the dish has been extremely salty. We can’t eat it because there is so much salt on the chicken and dumplings and the taste is horrible! Prior to this, each time we ordered the chicken & dumplings it tasted great. I’m not sure what has changed with the recipe but please try to cut back on the salt being put on the food! Thank you.

We have been coming here for a while, and the quality of the food has gone down. There are a lot of times that it comes out cold…or the chicken is dry. On this visit, I ordered the ground chuck steak (basically a hamburger patty). They didn’t ask me how I wanted it done, and it came out as a hockey puck. (With enough gravy and mashed potatoes, it was bearable to eat. I know I could have sent it back, but I was already frustrated and wanted to get out of there.) I realize this is not the epitome of fine dining, but I also realize that the locations further south are better. The service is usually really good, and the atmosphere is exactly what you expect at a Cracker Barrel. The country store is always a high point, as well. I have found that coming for breakfast does seem to rate better. We will continue to stop in – especially in the winter when they have the fireplace going; however, we also go with the correct expectations.

Our server was so sweet and nice. I enjoyed her. We had a great time there. Everything was perfect except for the meatloaf. We both ordered the meatloaf. It wasn’t the tastiest. It was mostly breading but not much meat to it. We were both disappointed in the meatloaf. Everything was good. I would not recommend this to anyone.

20 min wait to sit 45 min wait for food had a toddler with me why could you not bring out the Mac and cheese for the toddler? I do not care about kitchen politics! How patient do you expect a 4 year old to be? And when the lady beside us got her FOOD when she was seated AFTER US, and the people behind us got their food! WHEN THEY WERE SEATED AFTER US! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!! However we had a great server and the food was good.
