The food was a bit overpriced for the portions we got. 2 sourdough bread bowls were about $20 each, and a plate of fries and 4 pieces of fried shrimp was $30. However, our server was very entertaining and warm, which made our experience much better.

Robert absolutely made our experience. He escorted us upstairs to a seating area with a stunning view overlooking the water, which felt so thoughtful and special. Even though we only stopped in for drinks, the way he explained the menu was completely show-stopping. His recommendations were delivered like a performance with so much character, passion, and personality that it honestly made us want to order everything. Service like that turns a quick stop into a memorable experience. Ask for Robert you wont regret it ❤️

Excellent food! The seafood sampler appetizer was our favorite, but the crab cake was also very good with plenty of crab, not overdone with stuffing. The pasta was good, but a little under seasoned. We ate at 5:30pm. No wait and service was excellent because not many diners were out early on a weeknight. The view of the pier was nice. Overall, 5 out of 5.

A quick stop by this restaurant just to have a small beer with some oysters and cup of clam chowder.

Food is just ok. Service ‘s good Friendly and did a good job. However food waiting time is too long for small clam chowder dish with cup of chowder.

Restroom is very clean.

Paid Parking in fisherman wharf area. Free 2 hrs street parking couple blocks away.

Sorry to leave 3 stars even with good service and food is not bad. Just because i think they need to improve more to have customers come back. Price’s upscale compared to Pier 39 in San Francisco.

The Crab House, with its signature giant clock near the end of the Wharf, is a wonderful relaxing destination to dine with family or friends, featuring a great setting and beautiful views from both upstairs and downstairs. It’s perfect for corporate and tour groups and celebrations, offering a spacious layout, al fresco dining upstairs and downstairs with great views of the Monterey Harbor, and a comfortable bar area also with fantastic views. The restaurant is very well run, with professional and friendly servers and hostesses who make the experience seamless. They welcome families and with the big space and a variety of seating options, it’s a great choice.

For lunch yesterday, everything was delicious. They have a big menu with lots of choices. The Jumbo Coconut Prawns with chunks of sweet mango were crispy and wonderful, the Goat Cheese and Beet Salad was excellent, and the garlic bread was crunchy, tasty and fresh. Special thanks to our server, Jorge Ranilo, who was superb—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. He made our visit especially enjoyable.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent seafood, great service, and a beautiful dining atmosphere. Be sure to check it out!

No wait during the busy holiday weekend. We really liked the fact that the tables are nice and spread out. Loved the views from this restaurant. The food was excellent, very fresh and the service was friendly. We had the oysters rockafeller calamari, crab cakes, salad and the cookie ice cream dessert. It was amazing and I’ll be back!

A lovely restaurant on the pier. My partner had the oysters and I had the Prawn cocktail, we both had the stuffed sole. The food was just so tasty and well presented. Service was good.

We came because of all the higher reviews. The place has good ambience atmosphere but the food was average.
We ordered 3 dishes and the chef gave us 1 complimentary appetizer for free. Turned out, the free dish, which is calamari, was the best one.
The other 3 was just okay. We ordered one crab cake, clam chowder in a bread bowl, and chicken ravioli.
The crab cake was small compared to the the price. The clam chowder in the bread bowl, which costs $2 if you want it in the bread bowl instead of regular bowl, was not tasty at all. Too creamy. We couldn’t taste the clam at all. We all agreed that this was not the best clam chowder we have had.
The chicken ravioli came with garlic bread. The garlic bread was too salty and dry that even my son, who really loves garlic bread, refused to eat it. The ravioli, on the other hand, tasted quite good.
That’s all. No comment on the staff though. I’ll let you know in secret that some staff were friendly and nice, but some looked quite grumpy.

Fish and Chips – this is the saddest Fish I’ve had in my life. It seemed it came from a box and microwaved.

Paella – shrimp and octopus were fresh, but it should not be soggy

The best dish that we enjoyed is the fried snapper.
