We opened our doors in 1995 and have enjoyed being a place to either relax or celebrate in ever since. First time visiting CP Shuckers Cafe located at 2407 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach.
We were greeted at the entrance by a friendly young lady and she immediately walked us to a corner booth.
We ordered our drinks and she told us about some of her favorite foods there.
We had the Shrimp Dinner and Fish and Chips.
Both meals were served hot right out of the kitchen within minutes.
The food was really good. Sauce for the shrimp was right on. The fries were a little on the salty side, but they were also very crispy and hot.
Thanks for a good meal experience this evening. You won’t be disappointed in stopping anytime of the week.

Electric atmosphere on a winter game night! The wings finished on the grill and were so good with the enhanced smoky flavor.
The service was a bit inconsistent as our waitress was forgetful at times, but she was genuinely kind and respectful.
There is no parking nearby whatsoever, you have to rely on the valet.

Came to town late Nov for my wife’s bday and next day while she did some wine stuff, I walked down the beach intent on cutting up to CP Shuckers. I was the only one on patio (it was a typical coldish day for Nov) but not disappointed, and Ally brought a water bowl out for my pups w/o my even asking. TVs had sports on and the gingerbread stout was great! I got some steak bites to share w the dogs–oh and thank you!–A cook that knows what medium rare is and doesn’t serve it as medium! I really like the vibe on the elevated deck. The menu has a ton to choose from–the beef lumpia ended up being my next order, which was a great call–and the happy hour specials that start just as I’m leaving (3-7 M-F) are amazing–lots of food and drink that’s more or less half off estimating). Very friendly staff–not just my server, Ally, but also a bartender and manager looking busy shifting from different rooms–every time they passed me they’d compliment my dogs or asked how my beer was. I had to duck inside to tell the hostess I had dogs to sit outside, and the atmosphere inside was warm and lively too–a good # of people for a post lunch / pre-happy hour. Bottom line, food, ambiance, service, and just plain neighborly, CP Shuckers made a guy and 2 Aussies feel welcome and at home. 5 STARS!

Ate here for my friends birthday. Ordered a plain burger with a side of chips and a big pretzel. Preztel tasted great but the burger was overcooked and burnt on the bottom but the manager or owner was cool and comped the meal. It was extremely loud inside making it tough to talk. Service was really friendly.

Great food, excellent location! We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio. Our server was very friendly and helped us pick out delicious dishes. I would happily eat here again. We also loved it was dog friendly.

This place was a suggestion from another business. They have parking and a lot of room for business . The greeter was very welcoming which made me want to dine in as well. The decorations are of military retirees which was cool. However, the drinks taste watered down and the food doesn’t taste that well. 2 out of 5. The server was seemed dismissive after I told her the drinks were watered down. The manager seemed to carry the same attitude. Very dry and unapproachable attitude.

We all had great time on Friday night. We set outside drinks were delicious, food was good, waitress was awesome, and DJ was great. I ordered prime rib special, it was alright. I thought the Kamikaze Wrap or Tuna Poke Bowl was better (Definitely will enjoy it if you’re sushi fan). Crab dip appetizer was tasty. Kids meals came quickly and kids menus were were great as well, kept the girls entertained with different things to do on them.
