We started our evening with two appetizers: the Bloody Cala-Mary and Hush Puppies. The Bloody Cala-Mary was a refreshing twist on the classic, bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The Hush Puppies were golden and crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, making for a delightful start.
For our main course, we indulged in the Seafood Tower, a stunning presentation of fresh seafood that was as delicious as it looked. Each item was expertly prepared, showcasing the freshness of the ocean. It was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
To finish off our meal, we couldn’t resist dessert. The Salted Caramel Apple Pie was a delightful blend of sweet and savory, with a flaky crust that made each bite heavenly. The Volcano Chocolate Cookie was a rich, indulgence that left us wanting more.
Our server, Matthew, truly enhanced our experience. He was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were spot-on, and his friendly demeanor made us feel right at home.
Overall, our first visit to Seaside Oyster Bar was fantastic, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving fresh seafood and excellent service!
The seafood tower is a true showstopper: lobster, crab, oysters, and all the right accompaniments, beautifully presented and genuinely fresh. You can taste the care in the sourcing. The crab claws were tender and sweet, and the sauces complemented rather than overpowered — the old, honest way, just as it should be.
The space itself is bright, airy, and modern, with a relaxed coastal feel. It’s spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and the outdoor seating with open windows in warmer weather is a wonderful touch — inviting, easy, and made for lingering meals.
Service deserves special mention. Our server was genuinely kind, attentive, and never rushed, striking that rare balance where you feel well taken care of without being hovered over. The kind of hospitality that lets the food speak for itself.
All in all, Seaside Oyster Bar feels like a little seaside escape tucked into Suwanee — honest seafood, thoughtful presentation, and a relaxed elegance that keeps you coming back.
A well-earned 5 stars
Leylah was our server and her customer service was great!
On the inside it’s decorum was beautifully crafted with bulby fixtures throughout the restaurant and luxurious waiting lounge. It appears that this would be a family setting because the tables and booths were really large
We were kindly greeted and seated, a beautiful soul by the name of Lupita came over and took care of us. She claims that she’s new on the job but she handled her position like a season waitress. I ordered the seafood platter that came with a medium size salad. I chose fried catfish fried oysters, and fried calamari. They give you a choice of three, two, or one entree with the price for each. Shrimp was on the list as well. My food was really delicious. I have gotten away from fried food but I was on vacation and in the south so I enjoyed my time. The tartar sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted, it paired wonderfully with the catfish. I was given ketchup for the oysters. I ordered cocktail sauce which is a better compliment for my oysters and calamari. I could not eat it all. I guess I should not have eaten the salad. And the hush puppies is a part of any seafood platter, in fact if you don’t have hush puppies, you don’t have a real seafood platter. I SAID THAT! So I had two small size hush puppies.
My in-kaw had a chicken patty platter that consisted of a pineapple ring and cheese, accompanied by French fries. The food was really delicious and it’s a must return when I come back to Lawrenceville Ga.
