Cowboy Cafe! Was the best meal of the weekend. We didn’t wait long as the seating at the bar is first come first serve. For a table there was a 15-30 minute wait at the time we visited. So we sat at the bar counter. The staff were very busy but still attentive and also had a steady flow of people. The food is worth the wait.

My buddy ordered the Washtub Burrito smothered in The Roswell Sauce (Green Chile). He ate the whole thing! I ordered the Hen House Steak & Eggs. Soo good. We left breakfast feeling great and very satisfied. Would highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

It’s an old diner with limited seating; perhaps 35-40 people. It was full when we arrived but got seats pretty fast. The waitresses are super friendly and helpful. They have a variety of burgers, country platters like pork tenderloin and breakfast options served all day. My breakfast was just okay tasting. Biscuits dry and butter didn’t help. The whole place is old and needs updating, floors worn out, no place for wheelchairs. One toilet. Cramped dining area. It appears to be a popular place for locals.

Quaint, friendly, and welcoming. Greeted by a good morming, welcome in. Very comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious from the jalapeño bacon, crispy hasbrowns, homemade bsicuits and gravy to the chicken biscuit and potatoes. We finished our meal with two fresh baked slices of cake; a german chocolate and carrot cake. Service was attentive and pleasant.

Great place! Giant portions! First time ever I couldn’t finish my milk or my orange juice (32 oz cups! Seriously, who does that with OJ or Milk these days?) Gave it my best shot though!

I got a hungry Cowboy meal while my son got a breakfast burrito. Got 3 eggs, Jalapeno Bacon (5? Slices) hash browns, a biscuit and gravy. Awesome meal!

Great classic American breakfast. We greatly enjoyed the Starving Cowboy & the Cowgirl breakfasts with a side of pancakes. Great service. Highly recommend!

The food is FANTASTIC! Our waitress was beyond friendly and constantly checked up on us. The orders came out quickly, only missed one item from a plate that was corrected immediately. The place was clean and well lit but the noise was loud. Seats are close together in a small dining area so we could hear everyone’s conversations! The restroom was single person and kept clean!

I absolutely love this small cafe. While traveling from South Texas we always to plan a visit to the Cowboy Cafe. Their pancakes are the best! The staff and patrons are always friendly.

Found on Google. We got there just after a rush we were told, so we had about a 20 minute wait. Service was pretty lacking, even though both servers were very nice. We sat accross from the kitchen window. I was watching food coming out. The kitchen put our food in the window and hit the bell. I looked at my watch. I watched both servers go up front a number of times and not touch the food. 13 minutes later they finally walked it over. It was cold. The plate itself was hot, but the food was cold. Not too impressed. Maybe we will give it another try one day.

Best coffee! Servings were large and the food was wonderful. I normally don’t eat chicken fried steak but this was awesome.
