Was in the neighborhood so thought I would give this a try. Large outdoor patio that feels like a mix of patio and garden surrounding the small building that still have a pretty good amount of seating. Waited outside for seating for a bit as busy staff came and went by without anyone saying someone would be there to seat me. When approached for seating and seeing that a number of people were behind me for seats, I thought it would be better to be seated at a bar that they had instead of taking up a table for myself. No physical menus are offered, just QR codes to scan for the menu thru the Toast app. I ordered the Bluebird egg Benedict that sounded good. The food came faster then I expected but looking at the plate did disappoint me. The two eggs were surprisingly small with one only covering a third of the English muffin. The eggs were poached pretty good with one being cooked more then the other but since the more done one was the smaller egg, I wasn’t really surprised. The sauce was nice with a few pieces of asparagus in it though a bit bland and I would have liked a bit thicker to maybe stay on the bites or even the potatoes. Those were cooked ok but also came off bland. For the price it was a bit of a letdown as well. Not sure I would make it a destination but if in area might give another try in case this was just an off dish.

AMAZING food, slow service. It was super busy here so service was a bit slow. The wait was worth it, though, because I got the best gluten free pancakes that I’ve ever had. They tasted like real pancakes! There was a bit of a wait to be seated and have our order taken, but the food was delicious.

We love coming here for brunch. You can bring your own champagne in and purchase juice to go with it. The food has always been so delicious. I love the benedicts!

Went in for brunch today. Minimal wait which was great considering it’s Sunday and the place was packed. Our servers Pearl and Jessica were very attentive!

Below average food, but nice service and location. I ordered the chicken fried steak with pancakes. The chicken fried steak and gravy were nearly cold, the pancakes unremarkable. The country gravy might have been better if hotter, but tasted pretty flavorless and gummy as other reviews mentioned. The chicken fried steak was incredibly chewy, even compared to how CFS usually is. I found that especially surprising given how thin the meat was. I was hoping for some nicer pancakes, but they were small, not that hot, and tasted like generic pancake mix. So, like I said above, the service was good and the decor cute and comfortable, but the food was ultimately disappointing.

We sat in the shade on the patio. It was full but not loud & able to have a nice conversation with my friend. The service & food were excellent. I would definitely come back again. We were supposed to try the new place on the block, but there was a long wait. Glad we decided to walk down & try it out. A cute little gem.

The country-fried steak was delicious, with a really generous helping of potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Really liked the cafe latte as well! The courtyard is super cute and I appreciated the umbrellas for shade. It was dog friendly with a lot of water bowls available. The service was fast and he kept our waters filled. I felt the food came out really quickly, especially for a Saturday brunch.

I have been here probably 3-4 times total and the food is good, decor is honey, and location is great.

This place has the best breakfast on Tennyson street! It was a nice day so we sat on the patio and the service was quick and great. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfect, not chewy at all, and was rather impressive. Large portions and small business eats. Definitely a place to check out!
