The atmosphere was very clean! and you could tell the employees and managers take customer service seriously.
I definitely will be back to visit the restaurant. Also, want to give a huge thank you to my server Bernardo for being such a great server and providing high quality experience.
If I could give 10 stars I would.
However, our experience completely changed when it was time to pay.
Our total bill was $276.07. The server handed me the payment device and asked if I wanted to tip. I was planning to leave around $10–$20 on the card, but a family member said he had cash and would take care of the tip instead. The server canceled the tip option, and I paid the full amount for the food.
When my family member left a $10 cash tip on the table, the waitress came back and said she could not accept it because we “owed” $56.10. She said that because we were a party of 10, they automatically charge $56 for large groups. We felt embarrassed and obligated to pay, especially after she mentioned they could also charge it to a credit card if we didn’t have cash.
What upset me most was that this policy was never explained to us beforehand. If there is an automatic gratuity for parties of 10, that should be clearly communicated before the bill is presented. Instead, I was given the option to choose a tip amount on the device, with no mention of a required $56 gratuity.
Also, we were 8 adults, 1 child, and a 4-month-old baby who did not eat or require a high chair. I’m not sure if the baby was counted to make it a party of 10, but that didn’t seem fair either.
In the end, our total came out to $332. While the food was good and our family time was special, the way this situation was handled left us feeling uncomfortable and pressured. Because of this experience, I will not be returning or hosting family gatherings here again.
We sat on the outside patio, which was pleasant. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious as well as beautifully presented. The service was friendly and timely.
There is plenty of nearby parking. I can imagine that this is a popular spot on weekends and May have a wait to be seated.
Never actually ate at the establishment, mainly delivery or pick up. The atmosphere seems fun and I’ve definitely been meaning to dine in, especially if the foods been this fantastic when delivered/ picked up.
The service has always been friendly when picking up and the one time something was “missed” they were prompt in making it right.
I’ve ordered a variety of items from Miguel’s all consistent with quality, taste, freshness and authenticity. A couple menu items that could use some improvement would be the taco salad as it seems to be missing something I just couldn’t put my finger on it and for some reason I’m just not a big fan of their shredded chicken (like in the tacos). But those 2 things were nothing in comparison to the rest of what we’ve tried on the menu as everything else has been so incredible and tasty.
I also absolutely appreciate that you get a small bag of chips and salsa with delivery and pick up orders. Nice touch. And IF they ever forget the tortillas when your order fajitas at least you can make some fajita nachos!
Rice and beans are always delicious.
Most definitely recommend!
Christmas set up. As far as the dining experience,
It was nice. Food was hot and fresh. Cheese was melty and the family absolutely loved it. Nachos were on point!! I personally had enchiladas and didn’t really love them but the rest of the food was good. Server was a bit odd but handled us with respect and made sure to keep our cups full. We will definitely be back.
