I had a vanilla shake with peanut butter and espresso whipped cream; it was very tasty. Fortunately when I walked in there were only a few people ahead of me. If you want something quick, be aware they may take a while. The line backed up fast, the place filled up; service was slow. Personally, I would wait if I go back, but I certainly wouldn’t head into town just for their ice cream. Limited selection.

They were just about to close and the very nice young gentlemen offered to still make us a waffle. Very very sweet of him to do! Will definitely be coming back during normal business hours because it was delicious and the customer service was above and beyond!

McLean made this!!! OMG! It’s so good. It’s called Whirlybird. It’s my first time eating Belgian Waffle and it’s an amazing first experience. He’s killing it tonight. Long line of people all by himself. Love love love what he made. It’s a perfect blend of the taste of Cinnamon Apples, Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel Drizzle and Bourbon Whipped Cream on top of Belgian Waffles.

Loved the experience! It is an fun place to pop into while walking around downtown St Augustine. Parking was the biggest challenge but not too bad all in all once we googled city parking lots. Next time we go we will try the waffles, this time we ordered milkshakes. The milkshakes were delicious and a fun treat but were very very sweet for our tastes so we could only finish half to 3 quarters before being done. We do hope to go back again soon to try the yummy looking waffles!

We were looking for something sweet when we came across this unique desert spot. With a variety of milkshakes or gourmet topped waffles, you will be sure to find something to hit the sweet spot. We went for a topped waffle because it was a bit chilly out and were amazed at how good it turned out. Definitely glad we stopped in.

I visited today with my two girlfriends. Two of us ordered shakes – one Ping Island and one Blackberry. THEY WERE AWESOME! However- we were so disappointed with the waffles and didn’t finish. We each tried a bite and it was so hard and dense and had a bad yeast taste. Maybe we got an old batch- but we won’t return for waffle or recommend the waffles. If you want a shake, GO FOR IT!

Cousteau’s is a must stop for our family anytime we are in St Augustine. They have amazing waffles and milkshakes. We have visited well over a dozen times and they never disappoint. Highly recommend for a perfect post dinner date when you need to get your sweety something sweet.
