Such a dynamic bar. It’s like a mix of a dive bar and a sports bar. Not a huge spirit collection but have the essentials. The beer on tap is pretty good though. They have a fairly robust menu and the food I got was pretty good. Service was quick and cordial. Would recommend.

O k o k a couple things threw me off about this place first of all. I ordered a fish fry and a sampler platter. The sampler basically tastes like wood, and it literally was cold when she brought it. I’ve liked gordon’s fish sticks since I was a child, so there’s that. The beer’s selection I’ll just blame that on, what I assume is a selection based on what the locals drink, but it wasn’t great. The topper was that I’d never been to a restaurant that charged you for using a credit card. Not only did they do that,we weren’t told anything about it until pressed. The waitress just gave us 2 receipts with 2 different numbers on it. Which confused everyone in my party. We thought she gave us the wrong bill.

Cool place with great food and service was also good. We will be back. Update: we went back to try a pizza and were told they no longer have them. Waitress was amazing and said sorry but haven’t been on the menu for 5 yrs. Trying to get it taken off their website and said we could go next door for a pizza. We stayed and got a burrito that was just ok. Maybe we try the pizza joint next time.

The wait was very long but I understand places are short staffed. We ordered water to start with, and she never came back to check on us. It was forever when we grabbed her attention so I could get another water and my lunch date ordered a Pepsi. But then we weren’t checked on again for some time before we were finally able to order. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The chicken looked like old nuggets or something over fried. And very little chicken anyway, Mostly lettuce then tomato than anything else. My lunch date has the blt wrap. There was bacon only on one end of the wrap and it was very little amount. The rest was a LT wrap really. Not very impressed.

I’ve eaten here many times while visiting Mason and the food has never disappointed, the servers are attentive, and with the new section opening several years ago, plenty of seating, even for larger parties (we’ve even had informal class get togethers). Try the olive burger (I customize with grilled onions & mushrooms, no bun) and sweet potato fries….hard to beat!

Food was good, our server, Delia was very good. She recommended sweet potato fries with this marshmallow dipping sauce and it wass amazing. I had a french dip sub and my wife wet burrito.
